Yaxel is more of a fit for us than the barn. I went to UAB games this year and he’s honestly more of a point forward than power forward. He can handle the ball but also he can bang with bigs down low. He’d be an immediate upgrade over Stevenson.

I like Jarin but I think it’s best we part ways. He’s too soft and clumsy to count on night in and night out. We need a new identity next year. All dogs on the court. Keeping him around only keeps part of that soft culture around. I’m fine with replacing him with 6’7 defender with decent three point shooting. Jarin never offered us anything in the post.

Oats has to start switching to zone at times. That backdoor cut killed us all night long.

Draft boards say otherwise. Derrion Reid hasn’t shown anything indicative of him being a one and done this year. I get you may not like Philon but seriously you’re gonna pretend Reid is better than him?

More bad defense by Sears.

Dude I get it you’re a Sears fan but he’s stinking it up as he has for much of this season. People on this board trashed Nelson and Big Cliff all year, why is it a problem when someone calls out Mar for his lackadaisical play.

Mark is just not fiery enough for games like this. We’ve seen it enough times to come to that conclusion.

We have to have Philon or Holloway run the offense. Sears dribbles too slow and wastes clock. Philon needs to stop the fancy dribbling and just play. We can beat these guys but we have dug a hole that we’re gonna have to get ourselves out. And no cooper Flagg is not better than Broome at the moment.

Sears is gonna have to play better defensively. We can’t have that lazy ish tonight.
