Family, faith, health, great times with loved ones, sporting events that rock, great food and a sense of community are my definitions of success...Mediocrity is what I found in Los Angeles and Dallas where everybody was from somewhere else and nobody had a sense of community, or gave a flying frick.
So stick with your little bedroom communities of nobodies who dont know their neighbors...After grad school I came back here for a reason...and as my parents age, and my grown kids look for their roots, I am so glad I am here....crime, trash, and all the rest....it's worth it.
...and before you say I settled for pennies... I have made a shite ton in medical sales from my home office in this God forsaken wasteland that you despise...
Thank God I was born, and will die, in Louisiana...
