He will spend more time in prison this way, most likely. After they determine he is competent he will stand trial, and if convicted, there is a much lower chance that it will be tossed on appeal.
If they convict him now, an appeal judge may toss the verdict due to his lack of competence....

Milroe has a huge upside but he needs work. My biggest criticism is that he holds on to the ball far, far too long in the pocket. I would rather him throw it away than get sacked or have to run. Nothing wrong with him running, but only when he ,and the coaching staff, wants to, not because he has to...
