Yep. If they really cared about player safety they wouldn't add more games. They just use player safety as an excuse to get more commercials in. I would prefer going back to the old clock rules and eliminating two regular season games. The new clock rules are the worst thing to happen to CFB.

I think Kirby was on track to make a serious run at Saban's record but portal and NIL have changed the game completely. Gonna be a lot harder to build a dynasty going forward.

Not completely true as Clemson wouldn't have made the playoffs without their conference championship game. I don't think 12 teams is necessarily too many but the way they choose the 12 teams is horrendous.

LOL at Arizona State and Boise being seeded 3 and 4. The whole selection process and seeding for the playoffs is a joke.

Miami actually has four losses. Virgina tech beat them on the last play of the game but refs overturned the win. Committee should take this into account. Although they officially won the game everybody knows they lost.

I was really hoping Bama would get Lanning as head coach. He's built Oregon like an SEC team whereas Deboer is more finesse.

It's not like A&M has been a powerhouse in football. Rushing the field because they beat an historically mediocre program. And they already had two losses so it isn't like they beat the number 1 team. Just seems way over the top for this win.

Yep. In 2017 Auburn already had 2 losses heading into the SEC championship game. So they had really put themselves into the position of having to win the SECCG to get into the playoffs. After that game they had three losses to Bama's one. So this really isn't a good example.
