If you’re diabetic, you can’t serve. Why? You’d become a burden to your unit if you were cut off from your medication.
If you’re epileptic, you can’t serve. Why? Having a seizure during any patrol or operation would put your unit at risk,
If you have Crohn’s Disease, you can’t serve. Why? Having a GI attack while being cut off from your very expensive injectable medication would cause distress to your unit.
See the pattern here?

For those of you who are being flippant with your numbered lists or saying “the easy part” for dealing with drug addicts is to get them clean have no clue how hard it is to get sober.
It’s not easy.
Staying sober is even harder and takes alot of self-reflection and admitting that the habits and self-image someone’s built for themselves isn’t working. That doesn’t even account for addicts who have been shattered by serious trauma usually from their family of origin.
Just the slightest failure or argument or trigger can send an addict who’s been clean for a year off on a weeks-long bender.
How many people do you know like to look in the mirror and figure out what’s wrong with that person and then be willing to change them?
For a lot of addicts, it’s easier just to keep using. For every person you see successful in recovery, there’s 9 others who don’t make it. If it were easy, every addict would get and stay sober in a heartbeat.
It’s not easy.

Then there’s the fact that their demographics are about to run them off of a cliff when they no longer have the younger population numbers to keep manufacturing at current levels.

Anyone who had income and didn’t use the pause to pay down principle at 0% is just trying to milk the system.
I paid off a $5500 loan over that time. I’ve still got a long way to go, but I’m not in default.
At some point, FedGov is going to have to make colleges and universities pony up to a seat at the payback table for gouging students with predatory tuition and fee policies.

She may be making double, but it won’t go as far as it would in BTR. You might go out and visit and look at total cost of living.
If you’re not married, I’d worry about going out there and the relationship ending especially if she’s making substantially more than you. Women say they don’t care if they make more than you, but they do.

Those TV lights are hot. If you’re not used to them, you could faint. Also, people lock their knees in those situations which can also cause you to faint.
