We have a new one on order right now to replace our first one bought in 2008. It has been really good, only a couple of minor things I fixed myself, and it was just time for an upgrade for therapeutic reasons (we are approaching our 60's and it is a legit arthritis/muscle therapy thing.)
Sundance Spa is the brand we own and are sticking with.
They are an industry leader as far as quality and innovation and have been for a long time. Do what you want, but I would highly recommend doing a lot of shopping around to be sure you get what you want and what works for you, along with considering the aftersales support in case you need warranty work. Buying the "bargain" from the super spa blowout sale at the local convention center might not be the best long term option.
Consider it an investment and not a novelty is the best advice I can give.
