To be fair, I’m not getting into the nitty-gritty of the methodology here, so I missed out on the reference to “Top Relative Searches” on first glance.
That being said, back to the West Virginia/Trans issue, if it is the largest outlier, my theory is that as Transgendered people are rare(r) in West Virginia, they represent the biggest “kink” for WV people who are bored with the usual spank material.

27% of Alabama is black.
What are you saying? That the black population is monolithic in terms of their tastes while whites are more fractured and diverse in their tastes?
Otherwise, the white population would have to be contributing at least a good bit to the BBW searches for it to win out.

Speaking of pointless back-and-forths, is it really necessary to bitch back and forth about who is and isn’t an alter?

Politics comes up in non-political threads all the time, and pretty organically
As mentioned by me earlier, if they are gonna crack down on political topics on non-political boards, I still think there should be enough nuance to allow certain topics to stand that have a tangential connection to politics, but are not solely political.
When it becomes just pointless name-calling because everyone has gotten bored with the topic and it’s threatening to become Poliboard-lite, then something more drastic should probably be done.
But a little nuance seems reasonable.

The M/TV board sadly has suffered. But I’d settle for someone actively moderating that board in general. Can’t even get spoilers removed anymore.

No, it’s hilarious how fast the leftists on this board went from celebrating politics being removed to wanting the poliboard dismantled in their image
At the end of the day, I couldn’t care less about how the Poliboard is managed. Leave it as is, if you want. I’m just suggesting that the board has cultivated a membership that feeds off of argument, and since they have chased off anyone to argue with, they have to find them on the other boards.

Face it. The Poliboard is MAGA-cult exclusive. No one who wants to have a reasonable discussion wants to post there.
The cult is getting bored with their circle jerk and are migrating to other boards to find excitement.
Moderation is what keeps message boards tolerable. No one complains when a Movie/TV thread gets whacked or moved from the More Sports Board.

Thread didn't even make it 9 pages and they already want the PT board to be heavily moderated.
Funny, what do Tigerdroppings’ “moderators” do except moderate?

I’m referring more to replies that try to swing a thread toward politics, no matter how much a stretch it is. Before moderators moved threads to the PT that were “getting political” as the person I was replying to put it, moderators should deal with nuisance posters who want to hijack a thread about what car to buy into a thread about Congress subsidizing EV cars or whatnot.

I know that's difficult but perhaps threads which became political could be moved to PT?
I would ask that before a thread got moved to the PT, moderators erred in the side of caution by dealing with people trying to make a current event post more political on a case-by-case basis.
As soon as a thread gets moved over to PT, kiss any meaningful discussion goodbye.
re: Why did kids stop getting action figures?

In some respects, the “creativity” issue was something that toy lines were destroying themselves.
The Kenner Batman line from the early 90s was just a constant recycling of the same figure with the same Michael Keaton-esque jawline but with different costumes. (Jungle, Aquatic, Ninja, etc.)
It was like Kenner was trying to force feed you the imagination you already had rather than just letting you imagine Batman, in his standard black suit, going into the jungle/water.
Kenner’s Real Ghostbusters proton-pack toy was also stupid in some regards. They put a little foam tube on the end of the wand that was supposed to be the proton stream. Kids can already imagine that. Why put it on?

Yeah, I’m guessing video games took over as the primary form of entertainment. Probably when we were playing with He-Man dolls some old timers were asking why marbles and jacks weren’t popular anymore.
Without getting too “get off my lawn” technophobic, is there not something missing?
Perhaps in less linear video games, there’s more room for creative thinking, but there’s got to be a wider range of creativity possible with action figures than what’s available on many games kids play.

Star Wars, He-Man, Real Ghostbusters, Batman, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, etc. Now, stores like Toys R Us and KB are defunct.
Did it become less cool to engage in non-social playtime (playing with figures) and more cool to engage in social playtime like multiplayer video games?

Yeah, I was seing that the incidence in the United States has been increasing for quite a while now.
Probably just more evidence of unhealthy lifestyles becoming more common.
I wouldn't say Wahl was "fat" or anything, but cardiovascular disease is often hidden in seemingly healthy people, and he probably cancelled out whatever health benefits he had from being slim with his hectic and stressful worklife.

re: When did the OT become the Politics board?
Posted by UndercoverBryologist on 12/14/22 at 10:55 am
OT has actual political discussions.
The Poliboard has discussions over whether Desantis is secretly a secret, globalist--funded RINO trying to cause a rift in the Trump fanbase before 2024.
Edit: Also, "Desantis is being funded by globalist lizard people to divide the vote for 2024...We must STOP Desantis before he ruins this country...But also, Desantis should be re-elected governor of Florida!"

Anticipating some of the Politard contingency saying "Well, John Ritter was an OLD man, while Grant Wahl was a YOUNG man...literally, no one died young from a cardiovascular event prior to 2021," I decided to look up John Ritter's age at death and Grant Wahl's age.
54 and 49.
Is it weird that someone born in the 70s is now almost as old as someone born in the 40s was in 2003?
(Yeah, I know, "basic math." I'm just saying time flies. Now, the young people of 2003 (30 years old) are now the old people.)
