It's easier to sell our current program to out of state kids who don't know any better. Local kids see the apathy of the fanbase. Good thing money and transfers let us recruit decent players nationally now.
Not the worst thing really. Most will probably come back here anyway. I'm fine with someone else overpaying for them out of high school.

Taylen Green is a true DT QB. Great passer, great runner. I saw him throw a ton of perfect passes to the other team. Hits them right in the hands.

Got better results than I expected. Lost one we shouldn't have and won one we shouldn't have. We were competitive in most games I expected us to be. Got another bowl win (Sam has been doing work on our pitiful bowl record).
I put my torch and pitchfork away. I'll never be mad at a winning season.
Hope we can continue to fill needs through the portal.
Some around here need to temper their expectations or take a step back.
