Got some guys that know him and his offense is based off of willy korn basically stealing a system from someone and then refusing to hire or give credit to said person. The scheme itself is a system of RPO's and options and I dont think that system can work at all at SC or the SEC in general. I dont think Chadwell is a good candidate I think hes a new coach benefitting off of playing meh teams with a gimmicky system designed to support less talented players. BYU by 90

This. At the end its going to be BoT (All SOLD on Beamer), vs Caslen (High on Napier). I dont think Caslen trumps BoT here. Our BoT has a history of bulldozing and overstepping so its going to be beamer. All the stuff you are hearing now is just covering your basis and leaving no stone unturned.
The more I hear the more I know its going to be beamer. The athletics dept is already coming up with marketing schemes revolving around things being the same as 2010 when beamer was here.
Still on for a Monday Beamer hire.
If anything changes itll be Caslen pulling a serious trump card and bulldozing over everyone. I dont see it happening

Beamer will be the next coach. Sources say its all but a done deal. BoT was blown away by his two interviews, and that plus a ton of spurrier era guys wrote to the BoT in his favor. They are sold. Would have been done this week but Caslen is convinced he can get a sitting P5 coach (Satterfield) but the interest isnt there. BoT said they wanted a final name Friday. Would expect the announcement as soon as then but most likely next week.
Also Ray will be retiring in February. Have had 3 different sources that work for the school confirm this.

Right I completely agree. Our ceiling is high, while our floor is 2 wins.
BUT I will say. I think the new thing that we have this year that we have NOT had in years past, appears to be consistency. In years past, we can look like shite against Mizz, beat UGA, then lose to App. Same with the years before that under Muschamp (although before last year it was loosely based around Bentley's wildly inconsistent gameplay)
In the last four games though, I've seen a very similar offense and defense every game. Hill is a game manager, and I think this team needed that as Bobo installs his system. We will see how the rest of the season goes, but I certainly like watching this team more than teams in the past.

Auburn Win and Im Back

So I havent been on here since I was working on my CPA, but I passed all the tests so I have time again.
Thoughts on the team - We are the most average team. about 7th in the SEC. We have flashes of great defense, and flashes of good offense. I think realistically we could win any games, but you know that wont happen. I think 5-5 would be a realistic mark for us. Auburn and Vandy were both not good, Auburn was 2 bad calls away from 0-3. Thank goodness for that too, as we benefitted from them being ranked still.
Beating LSU would be big. Them changing it to 7:00 didnt help. That place is cursed at night.

Its not over for Boone. We will stay on him til the end. Florida is getting alot of hype and people will fall into that trap.
Sam Reynolds is one whos stock is allegedly supposed to shoot up. Auburns looking to offer around when he committed to us. Had a great Junior year, super fast, but right now hes small. We will see but I imagine him being in the high 3star range

Looks like its currently down to Kitchings and BMac for RB coach. Robinson is out as of now.
BMac was the RB coach at UGA with some good RBs, and people would point to it as the best coaching/recruiting of his career so far. But to me it would be disappointing. I want Kitchings.
The current predicament is Champ will put him there if he cant find another job. apparently thats the best option instead of paying his buyout.
Once again Champ's loyalty gets in the way to being successful. Who knows maybe itll all work out.

He blew up recently. Coaches thing him and powers will be the top two receivers with bell having massive potential there as well.
With our current receivers this is good news. Im not sold on a single one. Shi apparently had serious attitude issues this year.

was just told that actually that will do it for now. The way they allocate we only have room for a grad transfer. So look for a possible grad transfer in the future but besides that Edmond will do it for highschoolers.

Got a USF Flip. Developement guy Gilber Edmond. Tall and needs to put on weight but got 17 sacks last season.
Im told we have 1-2 extra spots and this was one. They can move the specialists we got to 2021.
So we have another spot open if need be for a flip, but besides that as I said last week, White - Caldwell - Burch - Huntley will round us out. and now edmond

Burch is fine. He promised Coach O before committing that he would come back for a visit if they won the NC. They did so hes honoring that. Doesnt change anything since LSU lost just about all their coaches.
Caldwell is ours unless someone brainwashes him this weekend.
That Zaquandre White JUCO 4 star RB guy apparent has raised his grades, and set on SC. Hes ours if everything clears.
Thatll wrap up the class

Personally I dont think there is a shot for Grimes. Some people, including the person close to the program that fills me in, thinks there is. But hes told me this is more speculation and not anything firm. Hes a sooner. But we are still trying for sure.
Its possible I guess we take both, but from what I've heard so far white out solely on grades at this point.
Clemson entered the arena for Caldwell. Hes blown up. But I think we have a better shot due to our immediate need.

The third spot which is back open (was expected but for anyone that knows how much Bobo loved SC, were hoping for him to stay) will be a flex for now, and if Grimes were to flip, or another flip it would go to them. If not, they would award the scholarship to the fullback from Colorado State, since he is coming anyway. Apparently the guy is a swiss army knife. Gritty dude.
