Sam.....which makes it all the more peculiar that a woman who is supposed to lead and mentor young people would take a shot like this at Ehlinger.
Some young people are douchebags and deserve to have their behavior called out as such. That way they can learn from the experience.
Sounds like mentorship to me

Your team's most embarrassing loss
Posted by City Ham on 12/5/21 at 10:42 am
This board is often full of puffery and braggadocio, but football can be a humbling game. Let's take some time to evaluate the missed opportunities of the 2021 SEC football season.
I'll go first.
**It is important to note, no moral victories are being claimed in this process. We lost, and that is that.***
Over recent years of Razorback football, I have come to learn what an "embarrassing loss" is. Fortunately, those days are over and we have a few new whipping boys in the west (LSU, aTm).
This year, Arkansas lost four games, but only one was truly embarrassing. Our least embarrassing loss was at Alabama. We played hard but they were the better team that day.
I also can't find much to fault losing at Ole Miss on a failed two-point conversion. It was a shootout and Pittman took a calculated risk to win at the end, and it didn't pay off.
Our only home loss was to Auburn, who is always spotted 21+ points by the refs, and we were within that margin. Should Birmingham ever decide to stop being crooked, we would've won that game easily.
But our most embarrassing loss was at Georgia. I cannot believe we couldn't take care of business against those scrubs. I could make excuses for the team, but I will not. Our team fell apart because of crowd noise, when we could've clearly won the game on the field, as our team is capable of playing two halves of football. We shot ourselves in the foot with penalties, otherwise we should've taken that game between the hedges. We missed a huge opportunity for a big road win, and could've gone 2-0 against this year's soft SEC east.

We seem to cure covid wherever we go, given the 100% open stadiums we've been playing in...

Let's ban bet. You ban until Missouri hires Vitello. I'll ban after you do

When did this BS start where we judge hires before they coach a single game?
Past results don't necessarily indicate future performance. See Jimbo

re: List all the bullshite rumors here
Posted by City Ham on 12/11/19 at 7:16 am
This search should put to bed some rumors once and for all that come up with every search:
"We don't need to fire our current coach to start having conversations about his replacement". If this was true, everyone know Chad was a dead man walking for weeks, then why did "the search" take so long?
I saw people both saying "the BOT is taking this hire over" and "trust HY, this is his hire, just like basketball". The fact is, people that say this shite know nothing. They are projecting their own wishful thinking as fact
"We're going to bust open the Walmart/Tyson piggy bank on this one"
Biddy or anyone else in Arkansas knows anything more than the average fan. Anyone on this board who pretends to be secretive about sources also doesn't know shite
"ok, underwhelming hire, but we're going to open the piggybank for assistants"
"We're going to hire a CEO type coach." They're all CEOs. Look up what a CEO does sometime if you still don't get why this is so ignorant.
No leaks means we're running a tight ship. It truly means no one knows shite, but that doesn't mean there's shite to know.
"We have to hire someone with a winning record". Turns out, we hired one that's 0-0.
"Smokescreen". Jesus people, we aren't putting up smokescreens. Coaches or ADs may change their minds before offers are signed, but we aren't feeding misinformation. This is just dumb
"We need to establish recruiting ties in Texas". This shite is worn out. No matter what areas coaches say they're going to start emphasizing, every school is largely defined by its historic draw areas, which for us includes Texas. UA gets dozens of kids from every school in DFW. Its not like only the non-athletes at these schools know how to use the interconnected web of computers ("Internet") to learn about schools outside the state. Once they've heard of our school, we're part of a huge list they evaluate for "best chance to get to the NFL". No matter who we hire will be pounding pavement in Texas, and we will be a familiar name, if not a familiar face. Doesn't mean his birth certificate has to say "TEXAS" for him to succeed there

Why is the SEC rant discussing this new MU accounting professor with such vigor?
And also, who are they going to hire to replace Odom? They're getting boat raced, all the good football hires are already gone
