Should have traded all 7 draft picks for Burrow :casty:

Cmon man don’t make me click the SewerRant to figure out what you’re talking about

This was the fake company that (former 5-star) Nakobe Dean's parents "owned" back in 2017 before he committed to UGA. Dean is from Mississippi but the UGA booster network set up their fake company in Florida.

Notice the word "Veteran" was used as a cover. Not sure if gets some sort of state of Florida exemption.

Slimy AF but that's college football. Now you can just do it under the guise of NIL.
I wonder how the backcountry UGA fans feel about Nakobe Dean’s parents disrespecting the troops with that egregious name for a LLC

I agree, I'm just hopeful this COVID clown world is just a phase, not a perpetually state of being.
Things you can't control:

Weather
Landscape (i.e. how aesthetically pleasing is the area geographically, although beauty is in the eye of the beholder)
Proximity to and people/places/things you enjoy or value

Things you can control:

Regional Politics - you can control how much this affects you personally. All politicians are scum anyway.
Cost of Living - technically you can dictate affordability based on your job, what you value, etc.
Raising a family - you can be a great parent anywhere, and almost any region is family friendly if choose the right location within the region.
Safety - you can choose a safer area almost anywhere.

For example, I'm moving to New York soon to be closer to family as our primary goal, to an area that is considered very family friendly. Some people say "well it's cold there and it's run by liberals". That is true but I DGAF about politics really. And sure it's cold there in the winter, but the summers are amazing relative to daily swamp-arse in Louisiana.

There are tradeoffs everywhere in life you just have to find what you value the most.

If he's healthy and used properly he's a solid QB. Their offense needs to be built around Chubb. You can't expect Mayfield to Throw the ball 40 times a game. They were getting good yardage with Chubb the other night the went away from him. Which made no sense given the fact that the Steelers were sacking Mayfield left and right. Mostly left though LOL

There was no reason to run Chubb into the ground vs Pittsburgh - their season was already over. There's a case to made it was intentional they wanted to give Baker opportunity to showcase for a trade and keep their real asset safe (Chubb).

A trade seems mutually beneficial for both the organization and Baker at this time with his rookie deal expiring soon.

I like calzones don't kill this for me

There are plenty of schools with big money that have sucked for a long time.

There are tier 2 and tier 3 schools with a lot of interest and money that haven't been able to get over the hump that can use NIL to close the gap if they do it properly.

There's plenty of opportunity you just have to seize it.

I’m just saying that OM played a pretty weak slate overall and your defense almost finished outside of the top 100

58th in Yards Per Play allowed, which is the better metric as opposed to total yards per game allowed. Ole Miss runs a high tempo offense, so naturally the defense will play a lot more snaps and give up more yards per game on average.

Next NYE is a Saturday and New Year's Day is a Sunday - is the Rose Bowl going to keep that Sunday NYD slot and expect the NFL to adjust schedule? Or are they ok competing with the NFL?

Does the NFL historically move their games when the calendar falls like this?

Oklahoma actually put out a statement on Twitter in response to him getting in the portal. College Football is a clown fiesta confirmed

PFF - 1st
Teamrankings/statmuse QBR - 6th
ESPN QBR - 17th
DVOA - 22nd

The ratings/grades are all over the place for Burrow. Typically the truth is somewhere in the middle. He's clearly having a good year but probably not an elite one.

DVOA lists Burrow 22nd overall.
ESPN QBR has Burrow 17th.

Clearly PFF and their subjective grading is seeing something else advanced stats aren't accounting for.
Mediocre at best in college, no reason to think he would just translate to the NFL despite his physical traits.

TE is one of the toughest positions to play in the NFL.

Never pay over MSRP for anything.

People who say this shouldn't be in the market for a Telluride xD. It's a clown show - I paid like $1.8K over MSRP with Sam Club's Car Buying service this summer and I would do it again. Obviously everyone's situation is different so I wouldn't begrudge someone for doing or not doing something.

The comparable cars like Hyundai Pallisade have the same type of markup FWIW.
Moving up North. Anyone have recommendations for moving companies? Would be a multi-day move. We may or may not request packing assistance but aren't sure yet.

Any info would be appreciated!

Why would MSU expose themselves for that?

OM was screwed. Om has been screwed for a few years.

Once the death blow has been delivered, a predator doesn't rush in for more blood. It circles and lets the victim bleed out, not risking injury to itself

I would hope that MSU would be smart enough to not get involved, but so many perceived idiots on all sides of this story it's hard to discount anything. The NCAA sure felt like it needed Leo's testimony throughout this whole process it seems.

It makes me think that Sheridan just threw up a YOLO Mary to put the final nail in the coffin to Ole Miss. May backfire for some parties.
