re: Did the NIT used to be “bigger”?

There was a time that turning downing an invite to the NIT was rare and players actually cared. It suffered a similar fate as the lower tier bowl games since the playoff was implemented in recent years. As more and more hype is given to the top teams, the sport suffers as a whole.

re: Who was your 8th grade bully?

I was pretty much the shortest kid in the school but still had enough game to play basketball on the school team. The center was a kid named Cedric and he took a liking to me because I fed him the ball every chance I got. He picked on me in a friendly way but no one even thought about really messing with me. I was lucky.

Bloody Marys out somewhere for late breakfast, followed up with a brewery visit, come home mid afternoon and crank the TV and sound with an 80s action movie. Order dinner via door dash, followed by some whiskey and classic horror flicks.

It had its moments but was pretty corny from what I remember even as a teenager.

I admittedly have been a Ron '28 guy for quite awhile but JD continues to impress. His polish is unreal for his age. I look forward to the debates.

the men in the room seemed more interested in the board game than the people in the room the women agreed
So these women went to a singles event, sat as a group by themselves instead of mingling, got mad at the men for playing the games provided, and blamed the men. Sounds about right.

You really gonna bring up treatment of women, rape accusations and Islam in the same sentence?

re: Grand isle this weekend

Stayed whole Mardi Gras week in Grand Isle. Wind and the fish kill from Snowmageddon really put the hurt on fishing. Managed a mixed box of 34 one day, the other days were pretty tough. Surprisingly the flounder were biting just off the rocks in the pass.
