I think there’s a good chance they would. They will at least consider seriously whether a two loss team with no quality wins is better than a three loss team with two quality wins ...

FWIW ESPN’s projections have us at 13, one spot behind Bama. That really means 14 since B12 champ gets an automatic If SMU loses in ACC title game we should jump them since they have no quality wins. That means we need one of the following to happen: Auburn beats Alabama Vandy beats Tennesse...
