Hitting- Tenn
Pitching- Tenn
Defense- LSU

I think LSU’s bats wake up today. Doyle and Phillips are 2 MLB arms that pitched really well. Good pitching beats good hitting.

Ump did his job, but I would love to know what Jones said.

It was awesome in that an iconic moment was created, and that there wasn’t a fricking thing the ump could do about it being a walk off.

Now, in the future, that ump or crew will no doubt frick over Jones to try and prove a point.
Oof. Not a great call for such a big moment.
Guidry is the closest and he doesn't even play.
If season ended today LSU gets a Top 8 seed. Just gotta finish Top 4 in SEC to get one IMO. A 5th from the league is certainly possible as well depending on how things go.

Timely hitting is very important indeed.
Getting a Top 8 seed is what matters most. 18 wins has you in the conversation.

This is not including having SEC Tourney wins added to your total. The committee has started to value that number more of late.

I can’t see a world where SEC doesn’t get at least 4 Top 8 seeds. I think a 5th is possible.

He’s improved over course of season. Only allowed 1 passed ball late from what I recall.

Good luck young man!
Now LSU knows how Oklahomo felt last weekend.

re: What is wrong with this team

Look tired and listless to me. Caught AU on their most complete weekend they will have this season.
I follow this team from fall thru the season, and I honestly don’t know who the leader of this team is. Guidry is a vet that has the personality for it, but he’s not even playing. Maybe Anderson?

None of the position players have really shown me anything outside of Braswell occasionally walking over to the pitcher to say a few words.

Wasn't a good fit. Hopefully they upgrade.
Love guys with pitchability like Cowan. He reminded me of Tanner Hall from USM. I think Cowan is a little better.

Pisses me off when I hear hacks like Moscona call him a two pitch guy.

He actually has a 4 pitch mix, but his change up is so elite he would be crazy not to use it heavily.
Koval could have really helped this year's team.
