Well, I think if other coaches thought that, he wouldn’t be at Texas St. with that said hope it works out well for him there and he tears it up.

If that’s the case why didn’t he renter the day the portal opened? He waited until he saw who Auburn brought in and realized he was going to have a tough time beating out DK after Arnold leaves.

I would expect nothing less from a Mario Cristabol coached team. I mean the guy lost to Gus and freshman Bo Nix when he had Justin Herbert.

For being such a strong recruiter, Freeze seems to struggle to close the deal with portal guys. Maybe not and maybe there’s some larger plan but, at least that’s how it seems.

Bo Nix was good here. He had limited weapons around him but was still good. Malzahn’s offense at Auburn just wasn’t going to deliver huge numbers for a qb.

I think the real competition for Jared Smith is South Carolina. Justus Terry was a former USC commit I believe and everything I’ve read sounds positive for Deuce.

I think 12/29 unless they are in the playoffs or bowl games past that date. Then they have like 5 days or something after their game. Maybe?
