Heading to Lexington this weekend. What are some can’t miss things to do and where should we eat?

Kick Tex-arse back to the Big XII

Horns can’t beat Washington? They have no business in the SEC.
You’ll be upset then when you find out they’re in a NY6
You have one win over CFP ranked teams. Ole Piss’s win over Tulane looks rather obsolete now.

Ole Miss has done a great job recruiting the dumber students in the St Louis area. I recently had a cousin who couldn’t get into Mizzou but was a great student at Ole Miss. Take it how you want, but it’s true.
Mizzou beat writer is saying Gates was offered by USCe and he turned them down

BYU or Boise would be a good add for a lot of conferences but they can’t play in the ACC or SEC bc that’s too much travel, gets expensive plus time consuming

What those two schools add? Utah has around 3 million people and Idaho 1.7 million. That’s like adding an Arkansas, but you have two more mouths to feed. Are those two states going to bring an additional $100 million or more to the table?

Maybe it’s the southern education, but many of you seem incapable to understand what drove expansion last time and what will drive expansion next time. $$$$$$

With the addition of of Texas & Missouri, you 35 million people to your conference footprint. That equals TV sets. The conference doesn’t give a crap what Missouri or aTm do in athletics.

There are 3 programs that actually drag the conference revenue down: Vanderbilt, MS State, and Auburn. All place second fiddle to a more popular program in the state. None of these programs bring addition TV sets to the conference.

This is just a simple fact as long as the tradition cable model is around. And it is. Even with streaming, it follows a similar plan.

You can’t make this stuff up folks.
It's not even close. Please tell me you know this.

Florida easily worst SEC East champ

Posted by Hbombtiger on 1/1/16 at 5:51 pm
Everyone dogged Mizzou for playing a "down" East, but yet Florida wins it, gets their ace waxed in the conference championship game only to get beyond waxed in their bowl game and not a peep.

This year's Florida team would have been destroyed by Mizzou 2013 and 2014.

Eliminate East/West, then:

Division 1:

1. Georgia
2. MSU
3. Ole Miss
4. South Carolina
5. Missouri
6. Kentucky
7. Vanderbilt

Division 2:

1. Alabama
2. Florida
3. Tennessee
4. LSU
5. Texas A&M
6. Arkansas
7. Auburn

At least you let us stay in the conference. More than some posters here....
