We have Cowan and Evans available for both game 2 and 3

The sweep is in play at their place, that’s massive

The first TJ surgery doesn’t usually lead to a second. The arm is stronger after the first

Doesn't matter. You don't put 135p on Andeson on a cold night in April 3 years off of Tommy John.
Bro, frick off. Anderson was cooking and he didn’t struggle at all in his extended innings.
Cowan and Evans are both available for the next 2 games

That’s a huge advantage and provides the opportunity for a sweep at OK

Yes, and most importantly there isn’t a close second. They have one good starter and he’s done for the weekend.
And we have Cowan and Evans both available for the next 2, that’s huge
re: Never thought I would see any coach let a guy throw 135 pitches!

Yeah it definitely ain't how it was in the 80's and 90's. Skip would let guys throw 150+
Maybe Skip was in Jay’s ear tonight

I feel like we should take 2/3 at Oklahoma, but they are ranked around 9 or 10, so who have they played and what are their strengths/weaknesses?

He’s struggling now but his stuff is elite and when he finds it he will dominate in the SEC
Schmidt will be key for success
Posted by SeekGreatness on 3/30/25 at 9:21 pm
Let’s hope he gets it together by the post season bc he has the talent to dominate. Bring him along through the season and let him get over the freshman wall
re: Bullpen: Who's gonna step up?

We had multiple pitchers do things they had never done before to win the CWS in 2023. Ack, Herring, Floyd
Let’s hope we can replicate that.

Bull shite. The girls wouldn’t have played a softball game 100 feet away if that was the case.

There is no lightning... otherwise softball wouldn't still be playing
THIS. Can you imagine the stink we would be in if the girls were playing in lightning and the guys weren’t and someone got struck??

you really think Eyanson would get all warmed up, throw an inning....then get an hour lightning delay and come back and pitch, then you are fooling yourself
Yeah but neither would their best pitcher.
Jay Johnson mismanages pitchers

It is what it is. Hopefully he learns from it

Eyanson was at 80 pitches
Ok, explain why he didn’t bring in Casan Evans to win the series on Saturday then, since Evans was obviously the best reliever
Eyanson got down 5-0 against Nebraska and Jay left him in
Posted by SeekGreatness on 3/23/25 at 10:31 pm
We saw how that worked out. Why didn’t Jay leave him in vs TX on Saturday when it wasn’t even as bad as it was Vs Nebraska?
Eyanson is a pitcher that gets better as the game goes on
