Nuss in a poor thrower when rolling out... on the move. His accuracy suffers greatly. In fact, this is one of two things he really needs to work on before next year (IMO)... the other being willing to run to get that 1 - 2 yards and a first down about 3 times a game....

We couldn't get a yard versus USC when Dellinger was in.... personnel always matter, but that is where the rest has to make up for it....

Someone posted a run play of TDP from when he set the record in the single game rushing record in the 2021 Florida game... The blocking in that play was nothing like what I saw this year.... Saying "oh we had a bad center, there's your answer" does not cut it in the run game. For most of the y...

Root Cause Investigation - O Line
Posted by TooSober on 12/18/24 at 2:27 pm
In business or industry, when something does not go as planned, we do a root cause investigation. Surely some type of forensic study would be done to determine what happened to the expectation, partially fed to us by the coaches, that the O_line would be dominate this year.
Are experts (Pro ...

We had new coordinators on both sides of the ball this year. That will not be the case (baring some big surprise) this coming year. I do not worry about a slow start against Clemson....

OK.. GeauxHouston.. good to know... hard to tell sometimes.
I think the coordinators and assistants are just getting established in their relationships and our recruiting is going to be top 5ish going forward... we will have the talent int he pipeline and managing that will be how we judge Kel...

Perfect post Alt26... I will add that we have a quality player or returning starter at most positions... and we are actively trying to address our few gaps with portal visits in the upcoming week.
We will not have much depth... and unless you are Georgia, no other team in CFB has that, so y...

He not "horrible"... he was actually good for Vanderbilt against SEC competition. I assure you they wish they had him back.
The issue is at QB, the backup gets no reps with the ones... and gets thrown in the middle of a game and can't connect on our timing pattern offense.
He's not horrib...

We have the last two recruiting classes. Guys are in line... they may not be as experienced as we would like, but they are there and it's this staff's job to get them ready, and we have a bowl game, a spring practice and camp next year to do it. Its why we pay these people....

Yes... Weston and Adams are the future and should be ready to step in/up. If not, then we will know who to target in the spring portal. Win Win...

We have had two great O-line recruiting classes and you people want them to leave by bringing in a one year guy that may not be any better than the people we have in development? Buncha dumbasses....
