Wanted to score some points. Everyone one of us has wanted our team to score some points in trash time...winning or losing.

Am I the only one that noticed that Auburn's QB got injured on the first drive, tried to play for awhile, then left the game after the first quarter? Auburn only has one QB, and only had him with a non-broken arm for one drive. We all knew they'd score their points...we just didn't know that Auburn would end up one dimensional and easily defended. Yeah, I know that means Auburn isn't that great.

The only way Bama is not in the playoff is to lose to Auburn and UF...while Auburn has a puncher's chance, UF does not. There is no way. Bama is in. So you should maybe scrap this attempt and try again. Pretty poor effort. Y'all really need to brush up on your troll posts...you used to be the masters...how the mighty have fallen

The first thing she is going to have to prove is that she was a tutor at all...that anyone would pay her to take a test or course for them...at first glance, I counted 5 grammatical errors and 3 misspells in her post.

Once again? It's been a few years since Bama handed Auburn an arse whipping...and Auburn hasn't had a defense like they do now. Bama will probably win...but I'm not seeing an arse whipping in my crystal ball.
re: Paying players and the power 5 breaking away
Posted by Robert Duval on 11/2/16 at 9:12 am
Terrible idea. Drafting players...telling them where they will have to go to college....unless they are paid. Actually, if they are paid like employees, and then are employees of the power 5, this makes some sense. But of course, paying them makes f***ing zero sense. Given the fact that college athletics LOSES money...and the few college programs that make money simply bankroll ALL of the other sports that lose money...from baseball to women's golf, and Title IX is going nowhere...it's a HORRIBLE idea. As if college isn't expensive enough?!?! Now, the football players that are already going to school ENTIRELY free, including food...will also be paid by the very student body who will walk away from college with $70K of student loan debt..so they'll see that go up because football players aren't benefiting enough from the free education, books, housing, food, etc...that we also have to pay them to make sure that they have a nice new car and the newest iphone and clothes. GTFO with that ridiculous bullshite!!
Ok. I admit it. I have a high school senior who is about to go to college. She has a 4.2 GPA and 2 years of college completed IN HIGH SCHOOL but isn't worthy of a red cent from one of the Florida schools to which she is applying...so I'm a little f***ing jaded!

re: AU FANS? Does Pettway remind you of Rudi Johnson?
Posted by Robert Duval on 11/1/16 at 10:25 am
The thing that distinguished Rudi was his quick feet...Pettway is more of a long strider and really looks to initiate contact. I like the Jerome Bettis, Mike Alstott, and Christian Okoye comparisons...I've heard a few compare him to Anthony Dixon as well. A better Anthony Dixon.
I'm a Bucs fan so I have watched about every rush of Mike Alstott's career...he and Pettway both do the same thing...right before contact, they REALLY lean into the defender and make contact really low...and use the contact to both knock the s*** out of the defender, and to stay upright and continue. There have been tons of big powerful backs that can deliver the blow, but pretty much always end up falling down...Pettway and Alstott both get lots of YAC for the above reason.

Pettway does one thing. He can't catch, can't block, and has no agility whatsoever
"Can't catch"
"Kam Pettway may have the best hands on the team" -Gus
"Can't block"
-was the starting FB/HB last year and would have been this year as well if we hadn't lost 3 RB's
"Has no agility whatsoever"
-haha. Hahahahaha. Cute
LF7 is going to be the next Adrian Peterson IMO. Kam Pettway is not. But maybe, just maybe..he might end up being a real force in the SEC for the next couple of years (he's a RS So), and he might just have a nice NFL career ahead of him. Guice is lighting in a bottle...not really a fair comparison. Obviously faster and more agile than Pettway...and Pettway is more powerful...seems to have very quick feet, good balance and vision as well that is making him a very effective RB...so get out of here with ridiculous Guice/Pettway comparison. If you'd take Guice over Pettway, that's your business...but I'm thinking you'd be in the minority.

Man...have you forgotten how miserable Bama fans make everyone else when they are insecure? The one thing I'm enjoying about Bama's dominance is the fact that their fans have gotten so bored with the status quo, it's not even fun anymore to be obnoxious...they are tolerable. When they lose (I just mean eventually), a sleeping giant troll will be awoken...the likes of which, you apparently have lost the capacity to fathom. I have not forgotten. I'm not looking forward to that part of it at all.
I still want them to lose...don't misunderstand. I just haven't forgotten the wrath of the insecure Bama fan base. Folks be dying and stuff.

What was your clue? Where I said "before yesterday?"
Alabama got 5 sacks yesterday. You really think one game is going to significantly affect rankings after 8 total games?
You're an Auburn fan, so you're supposed to be intelligent, right? Go pull up the season NCAA stats and update them yourself, then come back and let us know if they have changed significatly. You can handle that, can't you?
Been traveling all day and just realized you replied to one of my few comments here. I didn't read the whole thread, just your dumbass post. If you offered greater context to said dumbass post elsewhere in the thread, I didn't read it, still didn't. My apologies for not following the entire waterfall of your thought diarrhea.
According to the data that you provided, LSU has a significantly better DLine than Auburn. for the rest of us, with eyeballs and an IQ over 80, your statistics prove only your inability to comprehend them.
Auburn probably has the best DLine in the SEC...told you that to start the season. But it's debatable between Auburn, Bama, LSU and TAMU. Bama's front 7 is far and away the best in the league. It's kind of hard to tell though on Bama's DLine...Bama's scheme, as you may or may not be aware, doesn't tend to generate great stats for their DLine...really is a LB's dream. But that wasn't the question, was it? DLine was the question. So you really are putting your mastery of statistics and reading comprehension on full display aren't you? Not to bump the post to embarrass you...I just now have gotten around to replying. Sorry for the delay.

51. Auburn
Team sacks (before yesterday)...
3. Alabama
T17. LSU
T57. Auburn
Team TFL...
20. Alabama
T72. Auburn
T77. LSU

First off, gay.
Second, everybody knows the 10/80/10 rule. No? Well, for us non-Aggies that are also comfortable enough in our manhood to comment on another man's appearance, lemme explain.
Heterosexual men can tell the top 10%, and the bottom 10%...so if a dude is really good looking, or really ugly. The middle 80%, we hetero, cisgenders think they just all look like dudes. Just normal looking dudes.
So, having said all that, 2. Freeze? What in the frick? The guy looks like a beaver that just bit into a lemon? The only top 10%'s and it's a maybe, are Sumlin and Saban...and not Saban now, but Saban 20 years ago before he started washing down geritol with ensure for every meal.
Bottom 10% 1. Orgeron 2. Bert 3. Freeze 4. Beaver#2 in jorts
The rest are just dudes..and if you can do anything with that middle 80%, Aggie...err...gay.

I dunno...LSU is definitely rising and I think UF is getting Del Rio back. Those 2 are probably their best chances. Although as an Auburn fan, I only give us a slightly better than 50/50 chance of beating Arkansas. It's weird...historically, Arky just seems to have our number...like we do with Tennessee. We'll be favored I think...but not by much.
BTW, I bet someone $200 that we would win at least one of UGA, Arky and Ole Miss. I think I'm probably safe because of UGA.
