As much as I want to point and laugh at KB.. the sport is suffering and it’s showing its arse this weekend.
Bama would never have fielded a performance like that under the old rules.
It’s becoming unrealistic to expect programs to look elite anymore with how it’s structured. ...

While I think your point is valid that buying a team is your best bet.. look at Ole Miss.

I have wondered if CFB starts to move the goal post eventually on success.
If this trend continues, you will see way more 8-4 & 9-3 teams at years end.
Those will become normal and “successful” and playoff teams will be picked from what we would consider bad teams. ...

We are a bad team, full stop.
But I do think the rest of the SEC is very meh as well.
Texas & UGA are considered the best and both of them are beatable teams.
CFB as a whole is very unimpressive this year. The portal’s effect on the product is reallllllly materializing this year. ...

Tennessee lost to Ark & a bad Bama team. Not sure how you say that’s cream of the crop.
UGA is still best but they are 100% beatable this year too.
Texas has played one SEC team with a winning record (UGA) and lost.
That’s not elite either. ...

Problem is that all these ADs don’t get together and share knowledge anymore.
These ADs should have semi annual meetings where they all discuss challenges facing the whole sport.
They could atleast share market knowledge so that these agents don’t bend them over and ram them in the arse with ea...

In the stadium I personally didn’t like them.
I thought they appeared cheap and gave us a high school look.
After watching highlights, I don’t hate them as much. But I still think they need to never whip those out again. ...

Obviously hold onto who you can in ‘25 class.. but for us to compete next year I expect we will have to spend big money in the portal like Lane & others.
My prediction is we need to spend 10-15MM in NIL this offseason to get the needed horses.
Sadly I don’t think the appetite from our booster...

I actually hope that a billionaire comes in and drops 1B on a school or team.
That would be such a jarring event that it would galvanize the CFB community to change it.

Only real fix is to redefine CFB and get rid of the NCAA.
Then instead of signing day you have free agency with high school kids entering the FA pool every year.
You make the kids sign contracts to the program.
NIL money is bad, but the moving around from the portal is way worse. ...

If you can’t land the kids out of HS, spend the money to get a huge portal class.
Salvage the HS ranks you can and then spend your arse off on a huge haul.
OM did this and it put them in the playoffs most likely. It’s the only way get a shot at this point....

Don’t mistake my title as trying to rally sympathy for illegals. I want them 100% deported. They are a drain on our resources and are undercutting our wages of American workers.
I only ask if those in big construction firms have discussed the contingency of losing some of those people in the sho...
