This is going to be interesting for us going forward. We live in one of the poorest states in the union and have that population divided between two universities. We have a national brand and haven’t had to pay any significant buyout money in years. We also don’t have any single multi-billionaire athletics donor and the general fan base gets offended and riled up at the idea of them supporting NiL in even a small way.
I’m hoping revenue sharing comes soon or OSU, the Texas schools and Michigan are going to turn this into Major League Baseball
This man speaks the truth. There is no way we can go toe to toe with the big schools and if everyone is honest it isn't fair for anyone to have to do that

Alabama freshman Naas Cunningham is entering the transfer portal, ESPN reports.
Shocked face (sarcasm). Anytime we redshirt someone they go into the portal

Was hoping that Coach DeBoer would attend the game last night to support the team. Unfortunately he skipped the opportunity again so he could watch Washington play Illinois in softball in Champagne.
He went to the adapted athletics championship game that the bama ladies won

Im not sure who was really first, I think we were, but the rivalry between Alabama and Auburn is a great catalyst for these athletes. If Alabama is doing good in something it makes Auburn want to spend money to keep up and vice-versa. to the State of Alabama.
Just like everything, Bama was first and AU trying to play catch up because God forbid they don't get the spotlight or recognition for something. We dominated hockey against those nerds for forever and then they decided to get better and they've beaten us a few times. They were bottom of the barrel in softball until they hired that corrupt Meyers and they made the World Series. Same thing with Men's basketball until they hired a corrupt Pearl. Seems to be a common theme.

Putting Louisville in was their devious plan to have them play before a home crowd.
AU fans conveniently forget about 2 years ago as a 9 seed playing in Birmingham

Still have no clue what Trump has anything to do with sports. Isn't that what the show should be centered around? Is it still not on ESPN?

It's almost like they forgot they got to play in Birmingham two years ago as the 8 seed and playing Houston as the 1 seed

If there was only a way to solve this issue. Maybe hitting that "delete account" button might help. That would actually help almost everyone in the world if they just disassociated from social media. It really isn't that difficult

But one opposing player does a celebratory gesture after a dunk and they all cry like he elbowed someone in the back of the head.
Just an incredibly unlikeable group, a reflection of Pearl really. Super emotional, always talking when things go their way and crying when things don't.
i honestly blame Pearl for the crap that his players are doing. They all learn from the coach. Notice after everytime AU beats us they do the Crimson Crane including Pearl. So forgive me if I don't feel sorry for them when we celebrate in their house. BTW is John Metchie the ultimate troll for the entire AU students/players/administration? The Crane pose did a number on those people and for whatever reason the ones that it hurt the most is the basketball team.

Here for the quad meet with my daughter. There might be 1500 people here. Not a good look for my hometown. Decent amount of Michigan state fans here and decently loud
