During Florida's loss against the Seminoles on Saturday night, Gators defensive lineman Gerald Willis was ejected for a late hit he put on Florida State quarterback James Winston on the Florida sideline.

After the game, Florida's Will Muschamp, who coached his last game as head coach of the Gators on Saturday said that Gerald Willis would be kicked off the team if he was still the coach:

Earlier this year Willis was involved in a fight with sophomore quarterback Skyler Mornhinweg which resulted in Florida campus police being called to Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

Not surprising considering how he had to be restrained by coaches and team mates at the end of the 4A state championship because he was trying to fight the whole East Jefferson team.

He wouldn't be the first attitude that Muschamp disposed of.

@Cheo25 Easy to say, sure, but nobody has seriously question Muschamp's disciplinary bona fides. I have zero doubt Muschamp would have done it.

A freshman got caught up in the action, Booms over reaction is why he isn't a good coach. Have him call Winston and say I am sorry brother.

Not surprising how he got in a fight with one of his teammates over a number. Or over with another teammate over shoes. Or the many incidents swept under the rug in high school.

Watch the play in question. See where Winston's hand was before the push.

Big talk from Boom, but it's easy to say when you don't have to act on it. I don't buy it. That was a punk move, though.

I don't believe Muschamp would boot him from the team. This is the same coach who suspended two players for the Gators season opener, then reinstated the players for the next week even though the first game was never played due to weather. So the players never actually missed any game time.

An earlier comment says "A freshman got caught up in the action."

What action??? Willis was standing on the sideline. No excuse for this punk move by Willis.
