Like Peyton and Eli, the fact that their mom was homecoming queen & Dad was legendary QB at Ole Miss means none of their family will ever play at LSU. Ever, period! Family of Billy Cannon would also never play at Ole Miss. Just won't happen.

What about A&M?

I suspect whichever school signs him will have more grief than actual reward due to the Manning name. Constant attention and unrealistic expectation on one player is not good for team building.

Peyton did ok at Tennessee, and Eli did ok at Ole Miss. I think it'll all work out.

Do you not see that there are already more responses to this article than there are most most other articles after days or even weeks? Do you not understand ad revenue?

@BLG - yeah trolling LSU fans is always going to get clicks on a LSU website.

The chances of him going to LSU are NIL.

Would it really be a “huge” add?

With all of this buildup, if he doesn't win the Heisman or a National Title he'll be considered a disappointment. Unfair expectations for this kid. Hope he keeps a level head.

I only saw him play a few series on the ESPN televised game last season, so it's a very small sample, but he didn't look special. Threw a pick and just looked ok. Again, very small sample size. Another televised game showed a QB in Georgia who looked fantastic, and he committed to Missouri.

If he wasn't a Manning he would wind up at NSU or ULM

He has “UGA QB preventing the more actually talented guy from playing” vibes
