Can't wait to see folks check their phones to learn that 2023 Georgia TE commit Pearce Spurlin III went off for 265 receiving yards and 5 TDs tonight. Very good stuff for a future member of #TETuff in Athens.

His family moved to the Destin Area and he attends South Walton now. I was going to try and hit up a couple of games this year. Wish I could have been at that one but I was in Georgia this last weekend.

Just looked and they played Baker. That would have been the game to see. Besides Pearce, there is also a RB from Baker that has one hand and he broke Derrick Henrys records. He had 532 yards rushing and like 5 or 6 touchdowns. Here is a link to the highlights.

I live over in Gulf Breeze and this is fairly close to me but I don't really do High School football. I guess because my oldest is still in middle school. Would be fun to catch him on our local games channel though.

Yes, it is. Now all we have to do is hold on to all of them. I'm always nervous about early commits. They are either all Georgia and will easily stick, or they commit way to early then have second thoughts.

Why would you say whiffed? He's been expected to go to Bama for a while I believe. We got an official visit, but this class has long been assumed to be pretty heavy on the developmental OL prospects due to depth of roster (neither Mims nor Jones are currently starting at OT but expected to take over when given the chance). Probably looking at OL class of Scroggs/Greene/Hood/+BAP
