I highly doubt it unless it's not known to the coach and AD. Otherwise, the shite with the double dipping by the fab 4 never gets reported.

Unrelated. That's stealing from the university. A cover up of such a thing ruins plausible deniability and would bring NCAA sanctions and worse if uncovered.
If we aren't paying, then the level at which we recruit is downright miraculous.

I already went over what makes athens and UGA as a program so much better. And on the other hand, if we ARE paying kids on the same level, there's absolutely no reason we lose out on as many kids as we do.

Maybe we aren't paying as much, but it is really naive to think that there aren't UGA players receiving improper benefits.
I'm tired of UGA fans playing the "oh well they paid him" card in recruiting. It's very self righteous. If on the off chance that that self righteousness is totally justified and our players aren't being paid at all, our fans should stop bitching about our coaches when we lose. If all our peers are paying and we aren't, then we're putting our coaches in a damn near impossible situation.

Not really worried about Thompson. I feel like he is all Dawg and he has never said anything otherwise. That being said, Godwin is a big concern. Our need at WR is glaring. We need Owens and Godwin on board.

Insanely naive. While I don't think we're paying every one, we get the benefits to those we need to, IMO. It's my dream one day to win the lottery and bankroll our recruiting efforts.

I know for an absolute fact that our coaching staff gives out "care packages" to recruits. Now what specifically is in those? I have no idea so I can't speculate. But I do know that we aren't squeaky clean.

Probably just admissions publications and a handwritten letter. They may throw a Snickers bar in there as well. jmo tifwiw
