Where is all of this Florida State money for Georgia kids coming from?

Ny Carr committing would give Florida State 5 out of the top 8 ranked recruits in Georgia if you exclude Dylan Raiola, according to the 247 composite rankings. That's just completely bat shite crazy, especially considering that Florida State has sucked for 90-percent of the time that these recruits are capable of remembering.
Is there some group of swinging dick FSU fans and alums in south Georgia and metro Atlanta and wherever else pooling together money. Something is definitely up here. Not saying that it's illegal or against the rules, but something is definitely up.

25 years ago maybe, but these days it's not even close to being close. Cairo and the little towns around Cairo perhaps, but other than that frick no.
Florida State has been an afterthought for as long as these recruits have been watching football.
Anybody who thinks that they're not outbidding other people for these Georgia kids is dreaming.

It's called the NIL world of college football. Here in Louisiana, bama used to be our main competition for in state kids pre-NIL. Now, you see multiple kids choosing A&M and Texas over LSU, Bama, and others. Not hard to figure out why.

Have you seen how loaded the SEC is about to be? I can't imagine FSU was just going to sit on their thumbs. The ACC is ripe for the taking now that Dabo can't snag generational QBs.

With all their female talent, I don't know how they haven't had a great recruiting class every year. The only thing holding them back has been coaching and the ACC sucks.

They are paying more money than us. Got several that we want, but that's the game. Kirby is going to have to adjust if he wants these kids.

UGA is the back to back national champions, located in an incredible college town that is known for being among the most enjoyable places to attend college. They have also done extremely well putting players in the NFL, particularly in the last few years. They have more to sell to recruits before NIL comes into play than every other team in the nation.
While I'm not saying NIL doesn't come into play as well, it's silly to suggest UGA doesn't have a hell of a lot outside of NIL going for it. If money were completely taken out of the equation, UGA would be in the best place of any school in the nation in terms of recruiting today.

Can you point to who suggested that?
NIL isn't the only factor, but without substantial NIL opportunities you're not getting the classes you're getting in this era. Period.
