Nice melt.

Even if not a word of it is true, still quality .

Has ATM never played in the SECCG? Surely such a storied program has at least won the west once or twice? Maybe they can rise up to the level of MSU and Missouri one day and represent their division? With Auburn and LSU down, it's now or never.

I have never understood why people get upset over the location of a championship football game. This year the National Championship game was in Indianapolis....and I would not have cared if it had been played in Cleveland.

Again, 100% incorrect.

This is like saying people are moving in droves to Houston and Baton Rouge

I always felt that there was no argument against Atlanta, as New Orleans was the only other viable alternative and it had the SEC Champ in the Sugar Bowl every year.

However, since the CFP, I would like to see it in New Orleans in years that Atlanta hosts a CFP semi-final or final, and in Atlanta in years that New Orleans hosts a CFP game.

In addition, the Peach Bowl has grown in stature to the point that its not all that lower than the Sugar Bowl in the bowl selection order.

I think with OU and Texas joining there at least needs to be a rotation from Atlanta to somewhere else more west of Atlanta.

Why? They will not be playing in a national championship game during the next fifty years. If they want to see a game, simply fly to Atlanta.

You're clearly trying to be a tool. I've lived here for decades because it's a great place to raise a family. Comparing one of the nation's fastest growing areas to a third world city is beyond absurd. If you want to find the worst of a place and pretend that defines everything about it, it would be easy to do that with wherever you live.

Who cares about the eastern schools. They have had the game long enough. It is time that the western schools get the game closer to them. A&M, Arkansas, and LSU are just as worthy as the eastern schools. Plus the west will be even larger when Texas and Oklahoma join. They're may be more fans in the west than east.

It's the best site for the game and one could argue that Bama plays there more than other SEC teams.

I'm curious what mediocre city you live in. How do you react when people harp on the negatives while ignoring the positives?

The game in Atlanta sells out EVERY year, it is played indoors and the SEC powers-that-be are happy with it. Don't count on it moving anytime soon.

The ACC would give pretty much anything to have their CCG in an indoor arena that same weekend. Have you seen the weather, if you have ever watched it at all, when they play in Charlotte? It can be right miserable. The ACC has an image problem, too many people showing up dressed as an empty seat when the game is played. The big ten plays in an indoor arena and I doubt they change locations anytime soon.

That is not a bad idea.
