Why do you let a game played by 18-22 year olds dictate your mood so much?
Why do you let something you have no control over, control your emotions?
We really got 40+ year old men out here drinking themselves into oblivion and sky screaming over a game they have no control over.
It's insane.
Sports fandom is a net negative.

You’re not wrong. I used to care a lot but I’ve had two kids over the past two years and my give a shite factor for college football and video games have significantly decreased.

I don't care nearly as much as I used to TBH.
Getting married and having kids will do that to you. I got way more real world shite to worry about now than I did in my teens and 20's.
Also CFB has gotten really tacky over the past 5 years. The portal shite and the NIL stuff, my passion for the sport has basically disappeared . I still watch and still enjoy it, but it's not like it used to be.
