What’s taking A&M so long to hire a coach?

Seems like they would have hired one by now. Isn’t the portal important to aggy?

Texas had a coach signed within a day of firing theirs.

Weird.

We decided we needed to hook up each interviewer to a polygraph test first. Takes a while with such a tedious process

It was amazingly efficient.

What’s more amazing is Schloss’ ability to destroy his own reputation was even more efficient

Cause we are working to royally screw Schloss and Texas plans to become Texas A&M baseball.

CDC had months of planning. We will outmatch him in just about 5-7 days total. CDC and Schloss coup started falling apart hours before the announcement and Texas has been on their heels ever since.

Bad look and natl media is all over it.

What you gonna do when we retain our roster, best recruiter, and best coach? Just wait. You think CDC was so smart, too. Gonna be a lot of people laughing at Texas when this all comes to an end. And A&M gains in the big picture.

Karma is a real thing.

Aggies don’t have the cash… need to wait until payday.

To be fair, the first 11 coaches they offered the job to said no...

Simple, they’ve put their sports budget towards meat judging, so they can’t pay for a high end baseball coach.

So many interested coaches (including MLB according to Looch, lulz) and Ole Trev only has so many hours in a day. I'm sure with the flood of interest and coaches fighting each other for interview spots they may actually get a coach who works for free, or maybe even pay aggy for the privilege of working for such a prestigious institution filled with salt of the earth people! No matter what it will be glorious.

Why would you need to do that? The former coach never lied about anything

You said it. A&M must’ve created some real bad karma in the 1940s to become such a joke over the past 80+ years

His reputation will be just fine. ATM doesn’t have that much power. Hell, he just took a team that hadn’t sniffed a championship game since gone with the wind was being filmed and get them one run away from a title. He’s perhaps the highest performing coach of this century in college baseball with that rags to riches turnaround.

Jake Arrieta is also on the record. Schloss is gonna be just fine: LINK

With the DST article it’s Alberts who is starting to feel the heat. No one stays mad at coaches who deny and then leave. Look at Saban, Elko, and even Schloss three years ago.

You got a few news cycle of hyper victim behavior where you got the moral vapors and laid across the coach and put lemon slices over your eyes. Aggie hyperbole is an annual sport and we all get to participate. But the memory against coaches is short.

The more people that turn down atm and the less parity in your next hire and narrative will shift to looking closer at what is so broken in Aggie land.

They can't afford a new coach. Jimbo's buyout is really kneecapping them right now. They will never admit this, but it's the truth.

Apparently it's down to 3 candidates.

I'm guessing we're in the offering and counter offering stage of the hiring process and targetting a new coach announced in the next 48 hours.

Just my thoughts.
