Are you implying that he started recruiting at some point?

All of you sound stupid.

Harsin was awful.
Gus did JUST ENOUGH. Won big games, lost small ones. Terrible.

Thinking Freeze is a dead man walking is idiocy. I'll tell you this:
Freeze is in a better place than DeBoer is...

That is pure delusion. Freeze can't even win more than Harsin did and you fired him. You talk about 'recruiting' but someone still has to coach them and it seems Freeze is really bad at that. Freeze is stuck in 2012 with his philosophy. He is no longer innovative or creative. Every D coordinator knows his every move looking at the results you have had. Malzahn would not be 3-5 right now.

Now do recruiting capability kid

Recruiting is very important for a CFB coach. But the ultimate measure IS record. If you recruit great players but suck at coaching them and go 10-10 or recruit crappy players but "coach them up" to 10-10... you're a 10-10 coach either way.

With the transfer portal now, saying "wait for the recruits" doesn't really work anymore either. Part of recruiting is the portal and that impact is seen immediately.

Hugh might set things up well for the next coach by leaving more talent than Harsin... but right now they're the same guy when it comes to accomplishments at Auburn.

Where did I say anything about recruiting?
How does EVERY D-Coordinator know his every move if Auburn is one of 7 programs that average 6.5 yds per play on offense and allow less than 5 yards per play on defense?
Auburn has a RB that leads the SEC in rushing and yards per rush.
Auburn has a WR that leads the SEC in TD catches.
So again, how THE frick does every DC know what he's doing?

Auburn has turnover machine at QB. 1st & 2nd string. Maybe that's coaching, cool.

And Ol' Gus? About to get his 3-5 in the Big 12 arse ran out of Orlando... THAT'S who's stuck in 2013.

DeBoer has to follow the greatest coach ever, and if he loses at LSU next week.... well you're a belligerent Bama fan, you know what's up.

Not gonna rag on Auburn 'cause I like 'em. And damn sure not gonna do it before we play them in two weeks at JH.

I don't think I like Freeze (just from his past history at OM), but you're lying or ignorant if you don't see he's building something there. I just want to get past SC and Auburn for now.

Please Auburn, don't put it all together in the next two weeks.

I think Malzahn stopped recruiting to force a buyout as well.

The impact to your OL for two consecutive coaches not recruiting the position effectively (if at all) for a couple of classes is very apparent.

You have 3 wins. You lost to New Mexico State last year. At home. You lost to Cal at home this year. You've got more losses on the way because your head coach is an outdated relic who every single SEC D Coordinator knows how to defend and it appears even ACC ones do as well. Freeze is trying to use a 2012 business model in 2024. Its over. Freeze is a dead man walking. You WILL fire him either this year or next. He isn't going to win anything and his trajectory is at best the same as Harsin who you fired

You keep losing despite those metrics. That's not a good thing. Its coaching. Freeze is stuck in the past. Its over. You can fire him this year or next but he will be fired. Auburn has shown ZERO improvement this year.

You just said a whole lot of NOTHING.

Like I said, DeBoer is in more trouble than Freeze is...

You haven't watched an Auburn game recently have you? Maybe you should zip your lip when you don't know what the frick you are talking about.

Worry about defending your coach's windows from bricks.

Nope. He wanted to be gone and collect the big buyout. His sideline antics and dancing in the locker room antics after Miss State was him purposely trying to piss off boosters after a 6-4 season and acting like he'd won the Super Bowl

Gus is a disingenuous piece of shite, and every bit of that was deliberate.
