Makes no sense, Bama, Tenn and Aggie posters alone on this board should have boosted the LSU watch parties!

Nielsen has released viewership date for the college football regular season and the first season with the SEC on ABC/ESPN has been an absolute success for the conference.

Eight of the top ten most-watched teams were from the SEC with Ohio State and Michigan holding the other two spots. Here’s a look at the top ten teams in order of average total viewership per game.

1. Georgia – 8.6 million viewers
2. Ohio State – 6.8 million viewers
3. Alabama – 6.6 million viewers
4. Texas – 6.4 million viewers
5. Tennessee – 5.4 million viewers
6. Michigan – 5.2 million viewers
7. Texas A&M – 4.9 million viewers
8. LSU – 4.8 million viewers
9. Kentucky – 4.5 million viewers
10. Florida – 4.3 million viewers

I think this season with ABC has been a rousing success.

Still would like to know how the SEC came out second to the big ten on these TV contracts.

How did Oklahoma play Texas, Bama, Tenner, LSU and not make the list just by association?

Or is that not how this is measured?

Would you say most of the viewers only rabidly watch the school they either went to or support?

Texas has SEVEN (7) P4 schools to divide the loyalty, how many does Loosianer have?

This was ABC’s highest rated regular season since 2009 according to ESPN PR. Pretty successful first season with the SEC
