Still not the Deep South. It is part of the Upper South. From South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, to Louisiana is the Deep South.

Arkansas delta is pretty Deep South culturally. I think LR is basically the NW corner. Nothing west or north of there is Deep South.

Regions don’t really follow state lines like you’re thinking

Little Rock is where the upper south ends and the beginning of the deep south.

Then you have Southeast Arkansas which is without a doubt a deep south region.
