The last 3 pages are gumps posting about their burning down program.

Bottom line, Saban has cheated his entire time at Alabama, and now that paying players is legal, he doesn’t want to play anymore.

He will be gone in a year or two now that paying players is legal. That’s the only thing he had going for him. Little POS.

What alternate reality are you discussing, here? The one the OP tried to wishcast?

Maybe this is Auburn football fandom now. The Upside Down - Auburn fan edition.

bama will still compete for a top 5 class this season because the Alabama in state class is so loaded with 5 or 6 five stars which is totally unheard of. It drops way down next season.

Long term, the days of landing the #1 or #2 class every year are long gone.

You already tried this one and it failed. Not sure why you chose to regurgitate it. Guess you are running out of options.

Lead for
#3 Cormani McClain (Lakeland, FL) (#1 CB)
#31 Richard Young (Lehigh Acres, FL) (#1 RB)
#42 Damon Wilson (Venice, FL) (#5 EDGE)
#92 Jordan Renaud (Tyler, TX) (#13 EDGE)

Commits from
#13 Caleb Downs (Hoschton, GA) (#1 S)
#41 Eli Holstein (Zachary, LA) (#7 QB)
#44 Justice Haynes (Roswell, GA) (#3 RB)
#76 Dylan Lonergan (Snellville, GA) (#9 QB)

Alabama currently has commits from or leads for 8 Top 100 players from out of state alone including the #1 CB, #1 Safety and #1 and #3 RBs in the country

Bingo! The bag game is dead with NIL, or at least not as effective. I think Saban's real asset in recruiting was swooping in last minute before signing day with a bag full of money and stealing other team's recruits. That won't work anymore, at least not with other Blue Blood's recruits because of NIL..

Bama will still recruit well as long as Saban is there, but it won't be a windfall every year like before..

I stand corrected. 7 in state 5 stars. Probably won’t happen again for a long time.

bama can’t sustain elite recruiting like they have been without plucking several in state 5 stars. Most years that’s not even a possibility because in state recruiting usually isn’t like this. They’re only shot of landing a top 3 class this cycle would be landing 4 five stars from the state of alabama.

Are you literally just ignoring the facts being presented to you right now?

Alabama is only going to sign 3 of them. Luckily we're going to sign 3-4 out of state 5-stars.

The point is how’s bama going to do next year signing 3-4 out of state 5 stars when the in state class has none?

That’s not getting them to the top of the rankings.

Holy shite. The amount of "I deny your reality and substitute my own!" going on in this thread is ludicrous. It's the usual "anything good about Alabama is automatically false and anything bad about Alabama is automatically true, facts be damned" crew, though, so it really isn't surprising.

Well, they've already got 1 from in-state commited. So then they'll have 4-5 5-stars, which is pretty much a guarantee of an elite class

You do realize Alabama hasn't been signing 10 5-stars every year, right? The usual year is anywhere between 3-6 or so

Well for one. There will be at least one 5 star in Alabama for 2024. And he committed to Alabama this week.

As of now per 247, there’s no five stars and only three top 100 in state players for next season.

I’d be willing to make some sort of side bet that Alabama isn’t top 3 in 2024 if you’re up for it.

Might as well try explaining it here. It would resonate better.

Except they look to be gunning for the #1 class this cycle. Again. It’s the highest average per player. Only 15 commits and still #5 as of 7-28-2022. Many more elite prospects are expected to commit.

Alabama won’t ever again land #1 or #2 classes for 15 years straight as they had.

That’s absolutely going to be true.

It’s nice for them this year that the in state class is loaded beyond belief so they aren’t struggling as they will in the future.
