You know when Karl Ravech correctly calls you out that you are a grade A moron. Yes you know the same Karl Ravech who said the SEC was not a dominant basketball league this year because the teams went .500 in conference play.

The 2 year disaster stint in Miami changes the optics entirely.....

Plus prior to Saban arriving at LSU they were an afterthought for the Tide

LSU wins over Bama pre 2000 = 16
LSU wins over Bama post 1999 = 11

One of those was a quarter century the other dates back to the 1800s

What’s to laugh at?

Schloss while a great coach is a shitty human being. Ask his ex-wife and kids if they approve of his swinger lifestyle. And many of the players stated he was an arse of the highest order. There’s more to being a coach of young men than being a coach on the field.

But maybe Austin is a better fit? Don’t y’all have a football coach that left his wife for a stripper? Maybe morality isn’t expected or a priority?

Exactly….not sure why it triggers the sips so much. He is a great baseball player and a horrible person outside of baseball. Been proven time and time again in his personal life and his dealings with his employers. I know tu loves to claim “character” matters to them but they are like every other school. If the coach can bring you a national championship then off the field issues quickly do not matter.

I'm picking Aggie to take 2 out of 3, and yes, y'all will be sure to let us know about it. You guys have blue steel right now and we have some adjustments to make on the mound.

The factor that no one knows right now is if the players will relax and play to their ability or be trying so hard they’ll be uptight and not play well. That’s what happened at the beginning of the season. The preseason #1 ranking and expectations were too much for them to handle and they failed miserably. Now they’re finally relaxing a bit and playing well. But this series is different and there are some serious grudges to be settled. That’s a dynamic no one can determine on how it will affect performance.

Appreciate the attempt at civility, BB … mixed in with just the right amount of “we still don’t like you.” ;)

I love the game of baseball. It’s a big part of my family’s roots. Aggie Baseball, through thick and thin, is a good time and generally produces some of the most solid guys in the AD.

My take on Schloss. It's not that he left. That happens. Fine. And what we know about him now, he clearly wasn’t a good fit for A&M.

What’s disgusting is that he tried to tear down the program as he walked away, taking the entire coaching staff and attempting to take the team with him as he left for our most hated rival, less than 24 hours after the biggest game in program history.

He showed zero respect for anyone involved. Most people who coach and love the game don't go scorched earth on a team they have even a shred of love for (or any team for that matter), much less a program that has been good to them.

He lied, threw a tantrum, and lashed out when called on it. He walked away from those boys when they were at their very lowest and needed their coach most. He couldn't even wear our team colors when he got off the damn bus to greet fans welcoming them home.

I don't care how good of a technical baseball coach he is. The guy is a total POS as a human being, and I hope he crashes and burns wherever he goes.

That being said, here’s to a great series this weekend. The technical odds aren’t in our favor, but most of the intangibles sure as shite are.

so we did but we didn't but we did?

Are you on something? I'm not sure you know what a job opening actually is. There has to be, you know, an actual job opening.

I don’t think you can be surprised or disgusted that he tried taking the entire coaching staff with him. This is usually the case unless someone stays for a promotion (Earley but Earley wasn’t originally A&M’s number one choice which is why he originally went with Schloss to Texas)

It’s also common for some players to follow their coaches, albeit not an entire team and not for the hated rival but it isn’t out of the ordinary for players to follow the coaches they like. In this particular case the coach they liked more became the HC at A&M so kudos to you guys for keeping the roster together.

He absolutely handled this terribly wrong no doubt about it but what else was he supposed to do when posed with the question. He had just lost his first true chance at a CWS title and I’m sure the last thing he wanted to talk about at the post game conference was is there any legs to leaving A&M for Texas. He was clearly emotional after the loss and took it out on a reporter just doing his job.

Both teams look to be in a good spot currently. You guys are happy with Earley, most Horns should be or are glad we have Schloss. Nobody is perfect.

Is it odd he’s a swinger? Sure, which is why he’s divorced.

Should be a fun series that I am leaning for A&M to win if the aggys can make it feel like a neutral site with us having to figure out a new rotation this weekend. If we see each other later in the postseason or if this series was even a couple weeks from now I’d feel better but we’ll be working out some kinks with a new SP and aggy bats are scorching hot right now.

I hope this Texas team just continues to show the confidence and grit they have had all season coming up clutch in key situations. I expect that to be the case if our pitchers can keep the aggy bats at bay.

Here’s to hoping everyone gets to and from the fields safe and to come out of Sunday injury-free

People said the exact same thing about the football game last year. Truth is, once the game starts none of that matters. The team that plays better wins. You guys are playing well enough to take this series and we're due to drop one. Losing a starter on the mound also hurts.
It's a perfect storm for you to take the series. Should be fun.

4000% copium.

Why did you hire him. Was he a good fit then?

This is why the god of championships aligns against Aggies. Keep trashing your detractors. That empty museum thing is a fantastic meme.

The pure and blatantly obvious cope about being happy you no longer have a shite person leading your program, when (a) Aggies were absolute in their belief he’d never leave them for Texas and (b) you all showed up to games cheering for his teams without a care in the world about how shitty a human he was. And those rumors were there the entire time he was your coach.

You know who else was emotional? Every young man on that team. But he didn’t coach them through that. He only cared about himself, and hightailed it out of there as soon as he felt the heat.

Schloss could have given them at least 24-hours of his time. The team lost every one their coaches once they’d stepped off the plane, and returned to a silent locker room.

Those boys had absolutely NO ONE, and it’s inexcusable.

Chris Beard from Tech to Texas although that rivalry is further down on our list.. but we’re prob #1 on their list.

Rick Pitino and Nick Saban are close to fitting that narrative, but they didn’t leave straight for the other school.

Schloss from TCU to A&M isn’t all that different now that I think about it.. TCU and A&M aren’t really rivals in football, but I’d say they are in baseball..

Texas Football = Oklahoma then A&M

Texas Baseball = A&M & LSU then OU for me, but i’m sure others will have a different opinion. I expect Arkansas to be one of the Top 3 quick.. maybe this year,

Not trolling at all.. TexAgs is full of evil hatred for Schloss.. I understand hating him or being mad at him.. but I feel like they take it to a whole different level.

Perhaps they are trolling over there tho..
