Continue the SECE tradition of hiring a Saban assistant. We've got a Golding model with very little wear and tear that would look great in black and gold.
Yes the OC from Alabama would be nice get for Vandy!

Vandy has to roll the dice on a young guy. They strike gold and he leaves in 5 years or he's a bust and they try again in 4.
Kendal Briles it is.

The collect the 35 million each year the rest of the SEC's teams bring to the table all the while playing in a shithole stadium that the visitors bring more fans than Vandy.

I've said it for years, go triple option. See if Paul johnson is truly done, or steal a service academies coach
If they bring him into the league, I’m drawing up their expulsion papers.

They should cancel football and invest more into baseball schollies and getting BB back on track.

Vandy ran the triple option during part of the ‘80s and ‘90s and it didn’t work.

Wasn't nearly as outside the norm back then as it is now.
Whatever they do, they have to bring in a guy who has a system that he knows and knows the personnel for and can make the sum better than the parts.

This would be a very intriguing option. Guy won at Whitewater, has built a very good program at Buffalo that has been good for 3 straight years (not just a one-off good year).

Kevin Kelley is a narcissist and a cheater and he's not nearly as smart as he pretends to be

I would hire Monken. They have to be different.
Either that or just hire that goofball Will Healy. I think Vandy would be a good fit for him. He’d inject some energy for sure.

Vandy now would be a downgrade for Fritz
His Tulane team right now would kick Vandy's arse
Fritz will probably land one more job and it will be somewhere with potential to win big
South Carolina should go after him right now

Yea - I think you have to go 1 of 2 ways
(a) Hire someone is an expert at some outside the box system. Monken, Paul Johnson, etc.
(b) Take a shot at a very young coach who gets high marks from trusted football people but isn't quite old or hot enough to turn you down for bigger jobs. Healy, Lewis at Kent St, etc.

I'll be he's already sent his resume in
He would be a hit among Nashville area private schools like Brentwood Academy and MBA, per his upbringing at Shiloh Christian

It worked well enough for LSU to steal their coach. And if you take a look at what LSU ran while Dinardo was their you’ll see what the the I bone was supposed to evolve into, not that it was that impressive in BR.

actually I'll bet Sonny Dykes is interested

Yeah, Lewis at Kent St was the guy I was thinking I’d add to that list.
