So what’s the justification for Bama over Ole Miss?

Ole Miss is punished for losing to terrible Kentucky and Florida teams, but Bama isn’t punished for losing to Oklahoma and Vandy.

Ole Miss is the only SEC team to lose to Kentucky. That’s the only thing I can figure. Jaxson is an awful name too.

Ole Miss lost to a worse team (and did so at home) than any of 'Bama's road losses.

I’m not happy about it but I would have been irate if they had SC ranked above us after we beat them 27-3 in Columbia

so losing to the worst team by a few point is that much better than losing to OU by 21 just 10 days ago?

No. lol. Not at all. USCe is a mid talent team playing on emotion. That doesn’t work in the playoffs. Ask TCU.
