They will fire him after he loses to us in Starkville. Like what happened to Zook in 04

I got FL starting 3-3. But Billy loses the team in October. 5-7 finish to the season.

I think everyone appreciates the difficulty of the schedule this year. He gets are least two seasons.

4-2 start means beating 3 of Miami, UCF, ATM, Miss St and Tennessee, no?

That is not entirely out of the question. If Sunbelt billy manages that and somehow manages to get 2 more out of the rest of that schedule he should be given 3 more years. going 2-3 in the last 5 of that schedule could be close to what a winning CFP team looks at in the post season....

Yeah 4-2 is a best case scenario. I think A&M, Miss St., Samford, and 1 of Miami or Tenn or UCF.

We still have the talent edge over most of these teams, we're just a shell right now and it will just take a big win or big loss one way or another to set the table for the rest of the season.

Second half of the schedule we have winnable games against UK, Miss, LSU, and FSU in that order. Texas will be very hard in Austin, UGA still has massive talent and coaching advantages.

In other words I'm more optimistic we go 4-2 in the front half than 2-4 and the second to get to bowl eligibility.

He won't get an extension but he'll get another year, particularly if Lagway looks good and there's some improvement in recruiting/portal.

Gator fans haven't been happy with a hire since Meyer.

This is also true. We weren't "happy" with Napier.

We probably wouldn't have been happy with Kelly either, though. He's proving out his problems as a HC, can win a lot but not enough.

That's not trolling. Until BK wins something, he's earned his reputation the last 20 years.

Zook was fired for not winning 9+ games and having off-field issues. We're talking about being happy with a 6-6 regular season. Different era here.
