She has been diagnosed with brain cancer and is undergoing brain surgery.
Praying for her recovery and for their entire family.
David always came across as a really standup guy.

Damn she has to be young to be having those kinds of serious health conditions. Hate to hear about it. They seem like good people.

you'd think so but my wife's father passed away in his 40s from brain cancer and my best friend's sister passed away when she was ~30 from brain cancer having already had breast cancer in her mid 20s.

I lost both my mother and my brother-in-law to cancer.
They were both 52 years old when they passed.

Brain cancer is horrible in what it does to the human body. Older sister, 42, had it & it ended up eating out the back of her head. By the time of her death, she looked, and suffered, like a concentration camp victim. Bless her.

Always thought David Pollack did a great job on Game Day. Sad to hear of his wife’s cancer diagnosis. Hope she gets well.

This absolutely sucks. Kids and young mothers that suffer. I hope that she miraculously and completely recovers and lives a long life. Prayers to the Pollack family.

Depends on what type of brain cancer it is. Some are more treatable than others. If it's glioblastoma, that's a death sentence within just a year or so usually.

This really sucks. Like many who have already posted, this has also taken a toll on my family as well.
It breaks my heart to see funding cut for certain agencies behind researching a cure for this. It angers me when nutjob conspiracy theorists attack our medical establishment and top research universities that are filled with awesome people who are trying to cure this blight on humanity.
This evil won't be stopped by thoughts and prayers.

My aunt, mid 60s, just kinda started messing up speaking, saying sentences one day and just seemed off. They took her to the doctor. Brain tumor. She lived another 2 months maybe.
Good thing is she got to the point where she didn't know she was sick. She remembered everybody, but couldn't ever remember why she was in the hospital.
Then one night, a massive aneurism while she was asleep.

Horrible news to hear about regarding a fine Univ. of Georgia representative and his family.

So, 4 low-lifes would downvote a post requesting prayer for a fellow who's wife was diagnosed with brain cancer? Whoever the 4 are, you are not even pond scum, you are lower than the bacteria that eats pond scum!
Anyway, prayers for Pollack's wife.
