Here are mine:
1. I like having OU in the conference and I think they’re a great fit.
2. I don’t have anything against any of the other recent expansion members (A&M, Texas, and yes, even Mizzou). I’d only care if the SEC lowered its standards and admitted a city school to the conference (e.g. when Louisville joined the ACC).

To that, I think we close the door to new schools unless they’re (possibly): Clemson, UNC, Florida State, UVA.
Think the list ends there. Again, maybe that’s too many even.

1.Too many Tigers as mascots.
2. I applaud Ole Miss for being willing to change their mascot. I was born in MS and have much family there but very few of us cared for the university bc of the racist connotations. When I heard of the change a few years ago, I chose to drop the disdain I had for them.

I really want everyone to go back to their conferences. I hate the new landscape. All the Big 12 teams here can go home, I want the PAC 12 to go home, I want Maryland back in the ACC, I want Nebraska back in the Big 12, I want Syracuse, Pitt & Boston College back in the Big East.. would be nice.

I like every school for different reasons. Even Mizzou.

This. A thousand times, this.
I want all the old smaller, regional conferences back. The SWC, the Big 8, the Pac 10, and so on.
With the new playoff structure, they could have something like 16 spots with 10 conference champs getting a bid and six at-large bids or whatever - just not this.
This new version that was thought up by a damned CEO sucks donkey balls.

I think season should end after the SEC champ. No playoffs, national championship. The drive to find out who is the best team has led us to this point in college football as a whole. So i think we should scrap that and the SEC champion replace the national championship. No bowls, no playoffs, make it OOC games seasonal (one season all sec play big 10, next acc, etc)

I want the conferences back to about 2005...
I want Cincy, Memphis, Louisville, Tulane, UAB, Southern Miss, Charlotte, South Florida all in C-USA.
I want Maryland in the ACC.
I want WVU, Syracuse, Pitt, BC, Rutgers in the Big East.
I want Nebraska, Texas, A&M, OU, Mizzou back in the Big 12. I want the Pac 10 back.
I want Chaminade playing in the Maui Invitational. I want the preseason & postseason NIT championship played in MSG
I want all the top bowl games played on 1/1.

You sound like a typical weak wacko Austin liberal.

I want the TV networks to have less say in start times for football games. Of course there needs to be planning and coordination for complete TV coverage, but playing games in Texas at 3:00 in September is asking for a few thousand heat strokes. I remember Texas always playing home games in September at night. Must be oppressive in Baton Rouge and other locations as well.
and another thing, SEC needs professional referees. Year round training and able to cover multiple sports. Not needed for all games, but maybe 75-100 individuals that do nothing but referee the critical games.

I feel like there could be more parity in football. Only half the teams are capable of ever winning a sec championship or national championship.

The SEC championship football game should switch to 4 versus 5.
1,2 and 3 are getting in the playoff.
4 and 5 need another win to get in the mix.

The level of quality of the typical college football fan attending college football games will decrease in direct proportionality to the amount of money that is spent purchasing people to play college football games.
Eventually, the number of fans also decrease as the money increases. The game has turned into something disgusting. I imagine this is like what it feels to watch your kid, with all that promise and hope for the future, turn into a meth addict over a period of five years.

I don't really like night games, especially for big games.
Hate waiting all day to watch. But, I am rather impatient.
The basketball start times are almost ridiculous at times for late games, as I'm in the Eastern Time zone.
When I lived in Hawaii, it was almost perfect. Bulk of good games on a Saturday were on or over by mid-PM
