Not looking up the exact amount but Phil Knight had donated /pledges about what Jimmy is worth ( if 1.5 B is correct ...). I know in that he's donated a ton (6..800 million) for cancer research and though he did go Oregon ,he also went to grad school at Stanford and has donated significantly to both ( with Oregon of course being the biggest association)
