But I'm hard-pressed to think of another public/flagship university that is nestled in a prettier setting.
You need to take a trip out west.

You don’t have to stay in the NW Arkansas to work for Wal Mart. They are everywhere. Good opportunities especially for women and minorities. My niece graduated from college 7 years ago and is now a super center manager at 28 making $225,000 a year

You have got to be kidding! Get real.

We were pretty surprised how nice the University of Arkansas is and how cool NW Arkansas is in general. We visited quite a few SEC schools and it stood out.
Official Visit later in June.

Tell me you've never stepped foot in NWA without telling me you've never stepped foot in NWA. You could stay there for a month, eat every meal at a local, high quality restaurant, and never eat at the same place twice. There's even a restaurant on North College in Fayetteville with authentic Louisiana cuisine that is better than anything you'll find in the French Quarter, Cher!

Absolutely impressed with everything about this university. I believe in the next 50 years, Arkansas will be the best option in the SEC. Here's why.
1. Northwest Arkansas is almost perfect.
Great weather, centrally located, great outdoors scene, high economic growth, low cost of living.
2. The New Arkansan Scholarship Program is a game changer.
If you have a 3.8 GPA and live in Texas, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Kansas, Tennessee, Missouri, Louisiana, Illinois or Georgia, out of state tuition is waived. This is going to attract some really good students that will plant roots in the state.
3. A top business school and a pretty good engineering program for sub $10k tuition. These majors are what matters at this point. And the ROI is incredible.
4. With a 79% acceptance rate, it is much easier to get into than 12 of the 16 SEC schools (including OU and Texas), which makes it much more appealing to mediocre students.

No need to bring your mother's undercarriage into this discussion about higher learning

Only Tennessee is ranked higher in supply chain than Walton.

If you want to be in a Walmart Distribution Center as a manager then this is the place to graduate from.

Why Arkansas is poised to be the best SEC school of the future
It’s certainly on the rise but absolutely nothing makes it even in the top 5 best SEC schools of the future other than it not costing much to go to school there

This is actually pretty cool. Love that they skipped over Alabama because they want to keep the trash out.
You ain’t kidding. Anyone who’s spent 5 seconds with a Bama fan understands why a university wants nothing to do with them. They’re basically Texas fans without money or even semi-functional brains.

Arky is smart to make themselves attractive to the substantial number of good students from Texas who are getting screwed over by the 10% rule.

Aren’t you funny? No one wants to move to Arkansas. It’s sad but true.

It’s too hard to get in to ut and some of the high school grads are straight, so atm is out. TX money floods OU and Arkansas. Think enrollment at Fayetteville is 25% Texan.

Simple because it’s not Athens, Georgia, right?

Now this is comical and I don't care who you are
