Since 2000:
B1G yet again falls short and their drought will continue.
SEC is making their first appearance in eleven years.

SEC is poised to go on a run as a conference.

I want to believe that. But I think Duke wins it this year despite it being the strongest year ever for SEC basketball.

Probably correct, but the SEC is solid from the top down so should contend every single year.

Despite their poor record, it’s pretty wild that the B10 has had 7 different schools play for the title. They may not have won the game but it’s no easy feat to get there either.

Did...you read the OP or any part of the thread at all? We're talking about conferences here. The SEC had half the Elite 8 and half the Final 4 this season, 7 teams in the sweet 16, and 14 of 16 teams made the NCAAT. That is a solid record and foundation "as a conference."

Oh I read it and I challenge it
Thanks to the last year of covid players, alot of teams are older, Auburn has grown men out there.. I mean Kelly is 24, Baker-Mazara is 25
Look at the number of starting seniors that are graduating on the top teams in the SEC, this doesn't include underclassmen going to the draft
Bama (Youngblood, Sears, Nelson, Wrightsell, Omoruyi)
Auburn (Broome, Baker-Mazara, Jones, Kelly)
Florida (Richard, Clayton Jr, Martin)
A&M (Wade Taylor IV, Garcia, Coleman, Hefner, Obaseki)
Kentucky (Carr, Williams, Brea, Butler)
Tennessee (Milicic, Lanier, Zeigler, Mashack)
Arkansas (Davis, Aidoo)
Ole Miss (Pedulla, Davis, Murray, Murrell)
Arkansas will reload because Calipari, so will Kentucky. Bama has a few 5 star recruits mixed in and someone else there will be good.
Let's see what happens to the rest of the teams before crowning them the best college basketball conference. Teams will need to develop new seniors and top prospects have way more distribution amongst conferences than the SEC/Big 10 with football

Now look at SEC baseball. The last 5 titles by 5 different teams.
