Anyone with a modicum of understanding of what was coming knew damned well that NIL was never going to actually be representative of N, I, or L. It was just a way to funnel money to kids that would have made the old Big 8 cream their pants.

The SCOTUS making the ruling instead of punting it to a lower court and forcing Congress to take it up is why there was no chance to get ahead of it and create regulations for this new path.

Parity was NEVER the intention and only an idiot would think it was going to be the result.
