This is why eggs are so expensive.

wtf are you talking about? Kentucky can get who they want because of who they are regardless of the coach. Pope will be a good coach for them and their school is backing him like they would anyone. Good for Kentucky, doesn’t make me mad they’re competing when everyone is buying their roster.

OSU had one of the most expensive football rosters last season stocked with 5 stars.

According to you, your coach sucks.

You were never good enoughf in JR High or even grade school to be named 1 of the two best that had to tke turns picking your team.

You didn't pick your best friends if you wanted to win. You picked the best player when it was your turn.

It's never changed. The best players make the best team.

Most of the time. But you've never been the picker, just a kid that wanted to not be picked last.

I would expect a basketball-crazed school to spend big money in free agency. Now, idk what that roster is going to do for them next year but why wouldn't they go shopping? It's not like that well is drying up any time soon.

No one can confirm that. Stay off facebook.

Now, would we have the highest NIL budget, well, yes, of course, we are Kentucky after all.

Which is exactly what you said it is…a rumor. Nobody actually knows what these kids are getting paid. I’d be willing to bet that we paid a lot closer to $10mm for our roster. Which has been reported on by local “insiders”. Either way, we gotta pay to play and boosters simply weren’t doing it for a shite product from Calipari.

Pope just has to be smarter than his predecessor at bringing in talent. Even then, the basketball landscape has been evened out like never before with constantly changing NIL rosters.

Look at the Wildpiggies (UK 2.0) talking about money to pay for stuff.

That's fricking weird as shite.

Rumor is Aberdeen got $2 mil to be a bench guy.

$2.2M

Can't fault him for taking it. Also happy UF didn't overpay to keep. Guess it worked out for both.

Paying Aberdeen 2.2 mil to come off the bench is absolutely wild.

why not just save the 20 million, buy a trophy for $10,000 and call themselves Champions? It worked for Bama in football.

Just like the baseball series last weekend our hoops team took 2 of the 3 games.
