These stats are dumb. He's gotten to play five years. Give all the good players from the past five years in college and what would they have done.

Agree generally. It's an accomplishment, but with guys playing 6-8 years now, it's watered down

While true, it doesn't take away from how great Johni Broome has been.

Well then those stats would be dumb because Lebron didnt play five years of college so what could he have done. We can go down that rabbit hole all day.

Less than Kobe or Jordan.

Of course. But their stats are unfair because Pistol Pete didnt have a three point line.

Broome is a very good college player in today's game in which the vast majority of the most talented players only play one season.
Comparing cumulative numbers with guys from the past is just dumb. No one until the past few years played more than 4 seasons, and most of the best guys played less than four because of early entrance to the NBA and, years prior to that, freshman ineligibility.
This doesn't even factor in the three-point line and shot clock changes.

That's a very fair points scored argument.
But, Wilt would have beat them all in points and rebounds with 5 years

Just pointing out facts, not really hating. I like watching Auburn play.

Wilt averaged 30 ppg in college, Maravich averaged 44.

He's still getting the rebounds, no?
Pete wasn't getting them.
The topic was points and rebounds
Pete wasn't getting them.

Pistol Pete never missed so the rebounding opportunities were scarce.

Agree. Give Cooper Flag 5 years and he will break every record there is

I thought you were saying Wilt would be tops in both, sorry.
Pete was definitely a points and assists guy, though he did average a solid 6 rebounds a game.

Can you imagine if Flagg was still playing college ball at age 22.
