TBH, it’s kind of cool that these Texas-A&M games have had a lot riding on them in addition to being an ultra rivalry. This should be a fun series for sure.

That Gator's team has made the CWS 6 of the last 9 years (or something like that, my apologies if I missed some). Regardless of record, they are a traditional power and I anticipate a battle on their field this weekend.
Of course, the fireworks will probably be the 'Horns and Aggies. Can't wait to watch those games too!

This series came real close to meaningless until Aggie turned it on about 3 weeks ago.
Well... other than the Schloss drama... which is now even amplified.

Yes, the Schloss thing is what really makes this a big deal, but it’s also cool that it’s two red-hot programs colliding.

Nothing against the Horn, but I am pulling for the Ags this weekend. Aggies lost to them in football and 2/3 in basketball, so maybe they can get some redemption on the diamond.
Speaking of the diamond, there are some pretty big series in softball this weekend too.
#1 Tennessee at #20 Ole Miss
#9 Arkansas at #2 Texas A&M
#3 Texas at #4 Oklahoma
#6 Florida at #10 LSU
#11 South Carolina at Auburn
Missouri at #15 Alabama
#17 Mississippi State at Kentucky

Probably shouldn’t count wins against Missouri. I feel like Arkansas is a 10-5 type team. Really good but flawed. In fact most of the top half of the standings benefited from sweeping mizzou.

shite, half of Florida's SEC wins came against Mizzou

This weekend will tell us a lot about who we are as a post season team. By mid-season it was pretty clear Texas was an elite ball club when healthy. Depth was the question going into the season, and we’ve been able to absorb injuries thus far. Can the bullpen be efficient without Spencer? If they can be, I think Texas continues to roll.

Will be telling for both teams. A&M has really surprised me. They looked like dog shite early in the season. Just terrible. They look solid now.
That Weston Moss fricker A&M has is legit. The arm side run and the way his change up falls off a table is damn near impossible to square up.

yeah, he killed us. And with the A&M bats heating up, this could be a real battle. Glad I get to watch it as a dis-interested 3rd party.

Who is ready for some baseball?!
Posted on 4/25/25 at 12:43 pm to LSUTigresFan
Georgia up 6 - 0 on choklahoma in the bot of 2nd.

Not the OU starting pitcher.
This is how I imagine a worse case scenario for Texas this weekend.
