State is just really bad. I have never seen a program go from the pinnacle of the sport to an out of control dumpster fire so fast. Lemonis has got to go.
Is it too early to wonder whether State will win a single SEC game all year?

Just an honest question. What do you think caused it? I know they haven’t had an alpha on the team the past couple of seasons to lead but man that’s rough. 3-5 years ago when y’all were going through coach after coach you had some straight up dogs that would keep them going (Tanner Allen, Jake Mangum, Landon Sims, etc.)

Well, looks like MS State really wants to get the game in before the rain starts. Currently trailing the Vanderbilt Commodores 11-1 in the 4th.

I think it’s mostly our pitching coach. Foxhall is terrible at development and there has been a lot of rumors that his pitch calling is way too complicated and analytical. That’s why we are walking so many.
Problem is, Foxhall and Lemonis are like best friends from long before they got to State. So lemonis is never going to fire Fox. Therefore, Lemonis has to go.

It’s not only pitching. Fielding is terrible. We have no catcher. Literally suck in every aspect other than hitting and that has only been decent

I can handle us having a shitty basketball team or just average football team because we don’t have much history beyond spurts of success in either but us being this bad in baseball really really pisses me off. We invested too much into our program for these results

It’s not only pitching. But pitching is the biggest factor by a long shot. I mean we have 1 error today and 14 runs. Bad Fielding isn’t causing that.
