Donte Stallworth 4th quarter fumble against LSU in the ‘01 SEC championship game. They probably wouldn’t have beaten Miami in the Rose Bowl, but playing for their second title in four years would have been a big deal. Instead, they blew that opportunity, and the program was never really the same after the LSU loss.

I still think about that play a lot. As devastating as it was, it likely is the reason we have 2 more titles in the cabinet now. Some tough years there though for sure.

The ball should have been turned over to UT with the spot being halfway between the original spot and the end zone.
