You are proud of this behavior. Your entire lineage should be wiped out.

It was an important center for the production of nitrates used in making bombs. TVA built the dam there to generate electricity to use in production.

But Oak Ridge helped develop the A-Bomb and that trumps conventional bombs. TVA Kingston Fossil plant was built to service Oak Ridge.

Neil Young, once upon a time, decided to write a song about the South in general and Alabama in particular, called oddly enough, Alabama. Lynyrd Skynyrd decided to offer their own rebuttal and released a masterpiece that has become the anthem of ALABAMA football.

Did they ever record there? Oh yeah.

Skynyrd's First: The Complete Muscle Shoals Album

"Free Bird" (Muscle Shoals demo) (Collins, Van Zant) - 7:26 (Still the greatest song played at a live concert.)

"One More Time" (Original Version) (Rossington, Van Zant) - 5:04

"Gimme Three Steps" (Original Version) (Collins, Van Zant) - 4:09

"Was I Right or Wrong?" (Rossington, Van Zant) - 5:25

"Preacher's Daughter" (Medlocke, Van Zant) - 3:40

"White Dove" (Medlocke) - 2:58

"Down South Jukin'" (Rossington, Van Zant) - 2:14

"Wino" (Original Version) (Collins, Medlocke, Van Zant) - 3:16

"Simple Man" (Original Version) (Rossington, Van Zant) - 5:25

"Trust" (Original Version) (Collins, Van Zant) - 4:14

"Comin' Home" (Original Version) (Collins, Van Zant) - 5:30

"The Seasons" (Medlocke) - 4:11

"Lend a Helpin' Hand" (Collins, Rossington, Van Zant) - 4:22

"Things Goin' On" (Original Version) (Rossington, Van Zant) - 5:12

"I Ain't the One" (Original Version) (Rossington, Van Zant) - 3:37

"You Run Around" (Medlocke) - 5:39

"Ain't Too Proud to Pray" (Medlocke) - 5:26

The US Corp of Engineers actually built Wilson Dam before TVA was created.
