Correct. With all that, I am asking how would Texas fans feel if that game ends 17-13 after utterly dominating the actual game.

They probably still feel really good going to the SECCG. Your question is very little brother. “How does Texas feel only beating us by 4 instead of 10!”

Well to answer your question, a little more miffed than we feel now.

17-7 does not reflect what happened last night, but it's a W.

Funny thing and absolute hindsight this morning, but if Elko kicks the field goals, and that game is 17-13. Are you feeling different or just happy to escape?

If you’d told me before the game that A&M would have a pick-6, a blocked punt w ball on Texas 20, and a fumble recovery then I would’ve thought we got our asses kicked.

Elko is taking some heat for not kicking that last field goal but I think it’s one of those hindsight is 20-20 things. There was about 5 minutes left in the game. As Elko said in the presser what better chance is A&M going to have to score a TD than from the half a yard out?

Now the play call is another thing. I would’ve let Reed do his zone read thing and take my chances w that. Even a scamper to the outside he probably could’ve gotten a yard. But I don’t blame him for going for it.

Of all things Aggie would say about this game, the Kyle Field garbage was the most delusional.

How have your last 3 against SEC teams ranked top 10 at the time gone? 0-3, I believe (19 LSU, 22 Bama, 24 UGA).

At least they didn’t throw a temper tantrum of bottles on the field when they got a bad call.

Texas Defense is an absolute beast. Ewers can't even seem to beat them.

That’s what I was pondering. And the point I’m making. If Elko kicked those field goals, A&M has the ball with 2 mins left and a chance to win the game with a TD at 17-13. That scenario is nutso based on how Texas kicked A&M’s teeth in for pretty much the whole game.

I get that maybe Sark calls different plays and A&M doesn’t get the ball back.

I get what you’re saying but as I said in previous post I think it’s just a hindsight is 20-20 thing.

Good game.

I'm not going to lie, if Texas defense somehow was not able to stave off an Aggie comeback, Sark would have deserved it.

This is what, 4-5 games now that Ewers has been a liability? Good Lord, Texas defense has to beat the opposing team and also has to cover for Quinn Ewers. It's not right.

Aggie Fans did their part, The fans don't block, tackle, or pass the ball.

What makes part of the first 58 minutes of the game makes you think A&M scores a TD in the final 2 minutes. Especially since they couldn’t punch it in from the goal line.

If we're gonna play coaching hypotheticals, what if Sark decided to just keep running in the red zone instead of letting Ewers throw?

It would have been a 31-0 game.

I don't know any Texas fans that tout our stadium as some impossible place to play either.

Not sure how you come to that conclusion. Do you know what narrative means? Again, you aren’t very good at this. You’re the Aggie football equivalent here.

We're happy to escape at 17-7, Quinn, Bond (running the wrong route) and our special teams (missed FG, blocked punt) really tried to give the game away.

That said, the game was nowhere near as close as the score suggests, we should have won that one by minimum 3 scores. The mistakes we made won't fly in the playoffs or even SECCG.

Past Texas teams may have fed off the home crowd, but this Texas team seems to thrive on the road wearing the stormtrooper look and having an "us vs the world" attitude.
